Not Fit For Purpose

This app is meant to replace the current very reliable weekly text reminder. Recycling & rubbish are collected on alternate weeks in their corresponding containers. The “containers” section states that all the shown containers are provided including black sacks. Either this is incorrect or someone has been getting mine for a number of years.

The collection days can be seen in the “calendar” section and if you click on any of the designated days you can see the type of containers will be collected. Black sacks are not included, may be because I’m not getting any!

You only need to look at the icon to know the UI is dated and very basic.

It doesn’t work and looks like it’s no longer supported

It insists on an email address and pin but won’t let you enter a pin- it brings up the numbers keyboard with no return button and no way to submit the information. Pressing return whilst in the email field doesn’t work either. If you request a new pin it says email has been sent, but no emails arrive, even after waiting for days (I’ve checked junk too). I don’t really understand why the council still refer us to it on their website. Just dreadful.

Pretty useless and has now got even worse

The only thing useful in this app for Bexley was to show which alternating weeks either the Green Waste bin or the Brown Garden Waste bin is due to be collected. This information has now disappeared. The rest is just the same as can be printed on a small sheet of paper. As for a missed bin, that can be reported on the council web site. So this app is now absolutely pointless. Heaven knows how much money Bexley is wasting on paying for this c*app? No matter how little, it's money down the drain. A 6 year old could write a better app.
