House Chores Cleaning Schedule 4+

Great little chore tracker, keeps me from getting overwhelmed from starting too many jobs at once & not having time to finish them. Just use the room by room chores list and add what needs doing daily, weekly, fortnightly & monthly. As soon as I’ve done one I mark off as completed.
This has helped me in just the few days I’ve had it. Would certainly recommend it for busy lifestyles.

This seems quite good on the face of it, the tasks and areas are easy to set up. I do however, have some comments / suggestions for improvement: - When I set a schedule of say, every Thursday it still puts it on my task list for a Tuesday, even when it is marked as complete on a Thursday. There seems to be no way of editing when a task is due, it appears random when the task is initially created. - It would also be good to be able to schedule dates such as monthly on the 22nd for example, or the first weekend of every month. - there is no way of editing when a task was last completed, whether that be to fix an error or when first setting up so that the routine is maintained. This is particularly useful so that big jobs that are done every 6 months for example aren’t always scheduled for the same time. - tasks due in next 7 days would be useful to split into due Monday/ Tuesday etc so that it can be compared with my workload calendar and I can switch tasks ahead if required. - a widget with the days tasks would be fabulous. - ability to block days out and the tasks be rearranged, either as regular days (e.g. weekends) or as one offs (e.g. for holidays)

We would like to inform you that in version 1.4, we have added an option to set due dates for tasks, which should help with proper scheduling.

Your suggestions of scheduling tasks on specific dates, adding a widget and a cleaning calendar are great ideas. We will certainly consider implementing these features in future updates.

Have been using for about a month or two now happily. Getting the Premium Subscription definitely is worth it. I do wish it worked offline, and that when you hit complete chore there wasn’t a 5 second cooldown. If your habit is to auto close apps when you’re done with them, it ‘forgets’ you’ve completed a chore.

That said, works well otherwise and developers have listened to feedback and made adjustments quickly. I pointed out a need for being able to hit complete on previous days for overdue tasks, the feature was added in an update less than a week later. Very positive experience!
