Spotless: A simply clean home 4+

After using this for a week I really like it. My house is cleaner and I don’t feel overwhelmed by the task ahead. I’m a person who likes lists and likes ticking things off those lists even more.
I’d like to be able to add one off items. I’d also like to add things for specific days of the week (like put the bins out on a Tuesday). I’d also like to view upcoming tasks, if I have a busy day tomorrow it would be good to view my tasks and get a few done if I have time so I have lightened tomorrow’s load a little. I’d also like to be able to add extra standard tasks like ‘skirting boards’ that I can then attribute to rooms, rather than having to keep typing it in.
But all in all a good little app. Thank you.

So at first when I looked for an app to help plan the house cleaning I was not sure entirely what to expect. After some time searching around and trying other apps (which turned out to be a huge let down) I came across Spotless. The app is so simple to use and perfect for organising your tasks in and around the home.

Helpful custom reminders give you a notification that you have outstanding tasks to complete, a to do list is populated in line with your cleaning rota so cleaning the house doesn’t seem that much of a large task. This is by far one of the best apps I’ve used and I will continue to do so for as long as the developer is around!

One final note, the customer service is outstanding! Like any app you may run into a hitch from time to time, one difference between other developers and Reach HPI is that they actually provide helpful solutions and they communicate very well to get you up and running in no time! Special thanks to James at their team, they were outstanding and a credit to the company!

A good simple design and structure makes this easy to use and helpful for keeping on top of all those recurring tasks.

One feature suggestion that may have got it a fifth star from me would be the ability to add a few extra days to a task if I’m away and so the cleaning is not needed. For instance if I have it set to remind me to change be linen once a week but I’m away and not using the bed for five days it would be helpful to push the deadline back five days too.
