Time Magazine says:
"Baby Feed Timer, an elegant app that makes tracking breastfeeding a cinch, with perks.
The feed timer gives you 'left' and 'right' buttons (large buttons, thank goodness, so they’re easy to hit if you’re simultaneously cycling the baby through different feed positions). The best part? The 'analysis' screen."

Designed by and for breastfeeding mothers who want to track when and for how long their baby feeds, including a useful reminder for when a feed is due. It even tells you which breast to start on!

Baby Feed Timer does it all for you!
Tracks breastfeeds, bottle feeds, breast pumps, nappies, sleep, medication, solid food, baby's weight and baby's length. You can also make notes (ideal for recording baby's temperature and medicine given) and set notifications/alerts.

You can even synchronise the data across different phones (both iPhones and other phones) and view your data online at, making it easy to share baby's day with your partner or carer.

Quickly log data about baby from your Apple Watch. You don't even need to get your phone out of your pocket!

Data is analysed ready for you and your health visitor and shows daily, weekly and monthly averages.

See baby's day at a glance and spot trends quickly with easy to read charts.

√ Night mode. The App detects light levels and automatically selects a night or daytime theme

√ Focus on what's important to you by selecting which activities you would like to be displayed. You can even customise it further to show them in the order of your choice

√ See baby's weight and length plotted against data from the World Health Organisation to see what percentile your baby is in

√ Pause button. Ability to pause the timer during a feed

√ Analysis of the data including average time between feeds and feed times for the day, week and month

√ Easy to read charts displaying analysed data, as well as a timeline view so you can see emerging trends, such as baby feeding or sleeping at the same time every day. This also helps to show days when baby is acting differently such as more dirty nappies than usual

√ View how long you have fed your baby for that day. Particularly useful for mothers who are monitoring if baby is feeding enough

√ Manually add feeds if you miss one as well as edit feeds

√ Add notes to existing logged feeds such as if baby was sick or fussy during a feed.

KrazyKaris ,

Can’t live without it. Don’t even question buying this app.

After having a premature baby who spent he first 11 weeks of their life in NeoNatal hospital when she came home having a clear log of her breast and/or bottle feeds, milk quantities, nappies, temperature checks, medicines etc was really important not just for me but for the Doctors & nurses to have a clear view of her health. This app did that, and then some. Not only that but for me it was so easy to track my expressing schedule, how much milk I had, and for how long, and even get reminders when I needed to express again. Trust me when your tired, you don’t recall if you are on your 6th or 10th time expressing that day.
My partner and I both had this app on our phone and it proved invaluable. We have used it every single day for over a year and have recommended it to so many parents.
The logging is simple and easy and the data provided after is so beneficial, allowing you to notice patterns and trends and and therefore spot anything out of the ordinary.
It also grows with you and your baby, enabling you to track meal times and the sort of foods your babies like and even sleep times and durations.
If you are debating this because of cost don’t. This will be the best money you ever spend.

Brilliant Invention

This app is amazing. As a first time mum and someone who struggles with their memory this app is brilliant for keeping track of when i last fed my daughter, what breast and how long for. It also gives you statistical information regarding this, for example how many feeds they had on each breast or the time/average time spent per breast which is interesting. If you don’t breastfeed it has the options for bottle feeding and even expressing. You are also able to set reminders for you phone to notify you to do so. You can keep track of how many nappies you’ve changed and if they are wet, soiled or both which again has been very handy as my little girl had a problem with that recently that we needed to keep track. You can also note every time they sleep and it shows how long they have had or how many sleeps throughout the day etc. There is also other tabs for things like solid food and noting your baby’s growth (weight etc). Overall fantastic app!

Great newborn tracker

Great tracker for helping me plan my day around feeds, helps me track naps to again plan day. Also great for knowing wet and dirty nappy amounts - often get asked this by health professionals.
Also good to start seeing how long my baby feeds for and which breast to offer next.
Only improvements I would love - is that you he sleep tracker that is in this app disappears if you check the feed log - would be great if just dropped into the top of feed so you can track / start / stop both in same place. Also if sleep tracker would automatically stop when you tick that you are feeding (otherwise this continues to run in back).
Since December 2020 update the sleep tracker now doesn’t allow you to add the start date and start tracker with that time already added - it will now just start when you hit start tracker, so when finished you need to go back and update.

Developer Response ,

Hi, Thank you for leaving a review and your feedback regarding the Sleep Tracker, that's a good idea to have it appear on the timer screen once started. Good news, the start date can still be changed when starting the sleep timer. Once you start the timer the start date and time appears in a box above the now running timer, if you tap this you can change the start date and time and the timer instantly updates. This was minor change was made in order to simplify the sleep timer screen, which was a little confusing for new users with all the options being presented together. Thanks Alex
