Does exactly what it says. Need a timer for guided breathing? Look no further. No subscriptions, only a well priced one time IAP that costs less than a cup of coffee. Other apps require a subscription to access breathing methods, but this app just lets you take the recommended ones online and input it into the app. My only complaint is that the Apple Watch app is kinda useless. If you move your wrist and the screen turns off, the app stops working until you turn the screen back on. You can sorta get around this by changing the tap to make behaviour from 15 seconds to 70 and not moving your wrist, but after 70 seconds it'll turn off. I'm sure the developer is aware of this, and it's probably a limitation of the Apple Watch development API, but I've seen other apps get around this by putting the device into a workout mode and reading out the intervals (interval timer does this). It might be a lot of work to do though, so I can understand the developer wanting to keep it simple. Anyways the phone app is excellent, but I deleted the Watch app as it isn't worth the hassle.
Thanks for leaving a review! You are correct about the WatchOS app and the limitations of the API. Starting a workout does allow for the watch to stay on indefinitely, but unfortunately, “mindful minutes” is not classified as a workout. I just released a new version (6.0) that enables background processing so that even if the screen goes to sleep, the exercise will continue in the background. This is still not perfect, but hopefully a step forward until the API supports mindful minutes as a workout. Cheers, and happy breathing! 😊
