Great for AEW in UK

I’ve become a big fan of AEW from watching it on ITV, but hate having the episodes coming days after they’re shown in the US as I often see spoilers online. So the FITE App is a godsend, I can now see all the shows live with the AEW+ subscription, so I get AEW 4 nights a week live now, for £6.49 a month. Heck, I even bought the latest PPV, Revolution - my first ever PPV purchase, and it was worth every penny. On top of this, the FITE app also gives me access to old Ring of Honor shows and lots of other wrestling and MMA. I rate it highly, two thumbs up!

A Must Have App For Combat Sports App With Some Minor Flaws

I have been using the FITE TV app for a few years now (going right back to when it was still referred to as the Flipps Media app), and it is one of my must-have apps for both my iPhone/iPad. The app offers combat sports fans a vast array of content, ranging from Japanese professional wrestling to bare knuckle boxing, meaning there should be something to please all tastes. The UI of their iOS is (mostly) well-thought out, and users can get to watching content with just a few taps. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, the FITE TV streams tend to be reliable and stable (unlike some other competing services).So while there is a lot of things I like about the FITE TV, there are a few minor issues with the app that meant I could only give a four star review. Firstly, the FITE app has still not been updated to support the latest iPad Pro devices, even though it has been six months since they were released! I also feel the UI needs a few tweaks to improve the user experience. For example, the process users need to go through to access purchased PPVs could be streamlined by adding a “Purchased Content” section to the bottom menu bar (possibly replacing the “News” option). This would be significantly faster than having to bring up a sidebar, and then pick the “Bookmarked and Purchased” option from the sidebar.

Paid for the latest NWA PPV, thought something was up as when I did as the option to buy was still available. Decided I’d wait until show time, just in case, still no option to watch only buy. Contacted fite on twitter, no response, they did manage to tweet all the results out as awaited one though. Contacted live chat on the website, no record of my purchase, despite it showing as pending from my bank. They told me to report through the app, so I did. These then told me the payment was pending and wouldn’t be charged as there was no record of my order, so I should just go to the website and buy the show again. By this point the ppv would nearly have finished so I went to bed. This morning I got an email from apple showing I had indeed been charged. Disappointed on every level.

Great app for watching AEW on. Does what it needs to do and I’m happy with that. Only thing I can suggest is having the app play in the background. If I get a message or need to pull the notification tray down, the app stops playing. If I go to Messenger or another app to reply to a message, the whole app closes and reopens from the start when going back, even if it’s for 20 seconds, meaning I have to find the episode I was watching and play it again. Other than that though, really happy with it.
