We bought this camera when my son was born as my partner works away and it means he can go into the app and watch the camera at anytime. You can also speak through it which is cool. The quality is amazing. It has been so helpful for us instead of using a baby monitor. We are able to move it around the house depending where my son falls sleep (in his cot, Moses etc) and I can still get my little jobs done as I just keep my phone on me and watch him sleep. You can have the app on multiple devices and it’s really easy to use. I definitely recommend it. Great value for money and extremely reliable.

Installed Dahua DB11 doorbell 14 months ago and all was working ok before IMOU software updates. App no longer ringing aloud on my phone when the doorbell is pressed (volume is up and not silent). You also cannot play back the doorbell call notification recordings anymore, only live footage can be recorded and played back. Deleted the app and doorbell and reinstalled both and issue remains. In addition I have even installed a brand new SD card. I’ve sent a video clip to technical support which shows what’s happens when the doorbell is pressed and footage playback returns an error. The app has definitely changed since I first installed it a year ago, but whatever software updates have been done recently it’s making the app unworkable. Technical support is non existent, no phone number to talk to anyone. Not even my engineers have a contact. The Dahua video bell is great but the app is so awful that it makes the doorbell problematic. I will probably have to buy a ring doorbell which at least has technical support you can actually talk to if you have a problem.

The cameras were recording constantly so you can’t find activations as the whole timeline was orange and as activations show up as an orange line, you’d have to scroll through hours of video to see if someone had intruded. I was told to schedule the recordings times so I did that and then it didn’t record anything at all outside of the selected hours but recorded constantly during the selected times. Very frustrating as a detailed user manual could help. I have deleted the cameras and reinstalled them. Also have reset everything. Notifications can’t be altered in sound so you are stuck with a tiny “blip-blip” which is impossible to hear if you are outdoors. I have now uninstalled the app and the cameras and will give it one more chance. If it doesn’t work then the products will be returned.

I really wish I could find an instruction video to set up the cameras I have two now upgrading the first but I am really struggling with all the different possibilities offered and do not know what to choose . If there is a video someone please tell me . I need to go through it. I cannot find clips i want . The video is So very clear even through glass .would absolutely recommend
