I used to think this site was great as the ease of use was incredible… A wide range of assets although quite a lot are now restricted in the UK and not a lot of headaches to manage.However, the site has now claimed my account is under review therefore for weeks I cannot buy or sell any of my crypto and that makes my no longer trust this site. I am unable to take advantage of low prices and customer support seem quite lame….I definitely just want to eventually get my money off this site and delete the app as I will no longer trade with it…

Update - another problem I have with uphold is the random ability to deposit from my bank card. I have had this issue a number of times over the last year. It’s happened again now and the app says there’s a problem with my bank declining, my bank says there’s no issue and I suspect they are correct and it’s an uphold problem. Do you not want my money?Original review - I really like Uphold. The app has nice features, is well designed and has improved over the last year and a half I’ve been using it. It just has one major draw back however in that you can’t transfer most crypto’s to a different address. In this day and age when all other exchanges/wallets have this feature available, it seems very primitive and frankly not very user friendly to not be able to do this. There are a few coins you can do this with but even then you can’t do it through the app, only on the web browser. Overall though I like Uphold and will change my rating to 5 stars if the above is implemented.

Give this one a miss defo. They take your money and the put your account in review mode, so you cannot sell, withdraw or transfer the tokens out of their system. But they will allow you to buy more and spend more whilst still in review mode but can’t sell or withdraw or transfer the tokens. It’s just a front for a scam . When an account is created they should review the customer before hand and once everything is clear they should allow you to trade. But here they do things different because they have your funds and they locked. Hair pulling scenario . Coinbase is the best out there followed by Binance they rest can’t compete with the big big exchanges so instead start to rob the punters. Yep that will defo get someone far in life. Hope the 6x2 hole would be big enough for all the loot.
Brilliant app, but one suggestion for Portfolio

This isn’t particularly a question, however I’d just like to make a suggestion to perhaps add a feature to “hide” or keep separate Fiat accounts / national currencies, to your Crypto assets. This way it would make it easier to visualise the performance of your assets. With them mixed at the moment when you spend money using your Uphold card, it affects your overall portfolio. I think it would be great to keep these separate, or maybe this feature already exists!
