Game is Good, but, I'm Disappointed With My Problems Here :(

Ok, so it's a pretty good game, although I have been having many problems. My prestige in park isn't going up no matter what. Then, I got a gift for using all my energy in this update, and guess what, it was 7 coins, 7 COINS?? Plus, you make the passes cost money :( in which I think isn't fair, if you don't make it cost money, it will please many people who play the game. Also, about the hotel and inn. I'm not sure if this is fair or not but it costs quite a lot of emeralds. And to get the emeralds at an amount like that, your going to need to spend money. I wouldn't do so. Yes, as I mention about the gifts, some are good and some aren't. I half the time got bad gifts like just a bunch of coins and wood sometimes. So I would appreciate if you could improve the gifts :) and also improve the fact that when you sell things, it's WAY lower than its usual price and you can accidentally buy it because there is no warning, which means, I wasted my coins ;-; by accident. So I would appreciate these improvements in game :(Thank you. Please do these improvements in game, it would make a big change to Klondike. It would make you guys generous to fix my problems and others too. To be honest, the art, activities/quests are overall pretty good in events. Please do fix these problems, (including the gifts which are -sometimes- good and the fact that passes cost money (nearly) all the time :( Good game, asking for too much money, and problems with the gifts sometimes. Thanks x

Gorgeous art, no annoying ads

The current icon is very misleading (why devs, why???) as the art is gorgeous and any ‘pull the pin’ type mini games (obviously from another developer because the art style is so inferior) are restricted to the early stages of the game just to give beginning players a bit of a boost before their earnings with stabilise and they’re given access to more advanced features of the game. I felt the loss of that little boost very clearly, since all of a sudden my progress was stalling and I skirted the edge of bankruptcy quite a few times before I stopped keeping so many animals and adjusted my order board strategy. You’ll soon realise that energy is your most precious resource in this game since your max never gets very high and is soaked up very quickly whenever you try to clear anything (it’s quite common to find that you couldn’t move forward a single step even with your energy bar full), but there are various mitigating factors (sweets from your animals, the sweet shop mini game, ship orders, various prizes from the very frequent special events) and there is plenty to do management-wise even when you’re totally out. Not quite enough to occupy you continuously, but fairly close.And as a truly freemium game, there are absolutely no ads you couldn’t just skip (entirely skip, not just skip after 5 seconds) and what ad opportunities there are are both fairly unobtrusive and quite useful for getting ahead. Kudos to the devs for this, and also for keeping up a very active presence both here and on Facebook where they give out a promo codes and goodies with quite astonishing frequency.

Great game, shame about the expense

I have previously written a review praising this game and I would like to again emphasise what a great game it is. There are many lands to explore and regular challenges and races to keep you entertained. It is a very challenging but addictive game which I never get bored of playing. But sadly the developers have become to greedy and the game is now to expensive to play. It is impossible to complete timed challenges without buying extra energy. The price of this energy has recently increased and the strength of the energy has decreased. You are encouraged to gain as many gold coins as possible. In the early stages of playing this game this gold is used to purchase items, but sadly once you have purchased these items there is no longer any point in continuing to collect gold coins as there is no use for them. I have been playing this game for nearly three years and have amassed eighteen million gold coins. I keep suggesting ways we could use our coins and asking the developers to give us a way to use them, all to no avail. I have spent a lot of money on this game over the years because I really love playing this game, but until the developers stop their money grabbing greedy ways I will not spend another penny to play it. If the game was not so expensive to play I am sure more people would play because it really is an excellent game.

Addictive and frustrating

I usually get fed up with these sorts of games after a short while but this one has definitely got me hooked. It’s a strategy game with a difference, with periodic timed and marathon events which adds to the enjoyment in my opinion. Like all these free games there is the option to make in-app purchases but you can play the game and progress through the chapters without the necessity to do so. That said, it is worth remembering that the developers put a lot of time and effort into these games and yes ultimately they aim to make money from them, so at the end of the day isn’t it worth a few £ or $ just to continue to play or show your appreciation. Now for the frustration, completing the challenges does take a lot of ‘energy’ so you do have to show some patience (if you don’t want to spend any money on the game) so if you want a game you can complete in 5 minutes then this may not be the game for you. I enjoy having to think about what goods I need to produce to progress in the game and I like the competitive element that the marathon events generate but the time taken to produce energy can be a bit of a downer at times.At the end of the day however, I enjoy it and that’s why I shall continue to play it
