I signed up for this app as the advert was worded in such a way that I thought it was a one off payment for basic virus check. There was a mention for a subscription but nothing that indicated that it would be taken automatically from my account. I was shocked to find that I was credited for a monthly payment of £9.95 for an app that I was not using nor was it in use in the background . I had great trouble with their customer service team, as they stated to ask for details such as my phone number which I had not provided nor was it required for the action I was after. I do need to confess that the details that they had for me were not the ones I had mentioned when speaking with them, which made it slightly difficult for them to locate my account. However the lady that I spoke with told me that they had successfully deleted my account and stopped any further payments from my account. However I was greatly disappointed to learn that they had sent me an email stating that they require further details from me and that my account was active until I was able to provide the information that they needed. I have checked my iTunes account so as to cancel my subscription but I am unable to find any information that is linked to them. There is no information that is relevant for you to action the process for the termination of your account. Also I must also mention that on the first attempt I made to contact them their customer service representative promptly went silent once I had made my reason for the call and wanted to cancel my account. The 2nd attempt I made was very conveniently disconnected. And lastly after trying to get it cancelled the lady repeatedly tried to get me to opt for the subscription but at this time for half the monthly fee for the first 3 months

You are simply ignoring me totally and you have robbed me, a pensioner, of £237. I’ve tried to contact technical support and initially they showed me I could just get my money back by paying just $19. Except that they did not send what they promised to my messages and my email. I’ve tried to phone a customer support number that simply just keeps saying, we cannot answer your call at the moment please try later,” but later never comes. I’m now still waiting after 25 minutes to talk to someone on a chat that just keeps going round and round and I’m never going to be able to chat. You are obviously blocking me to pocket £237 from a pensioner which id despicable. I’ve just read a review from a woman pensioner who has been ripped off as well. I don’t know how you people sleep at night. My wife is in tears. We have only a few pounds left to feed ourselves for a week. You still have £237 in the pending section of my bank account and you are obviously stalling until you can take this. I am a Buddhist and you may make £237 now but you will pay for this dearly by what may happen to you or a family member as long as you work for this company, this will not be at my hand, I mean you no harm but you will get this evil back.I hope you can sleep at night.HenryDo not under any circumstances ever use this app !!!!! This app costs over £3 to buy. It appears in iTunes as a free app, so there is no receipt. It doesn’t mention anything regarding a rolling subscription until after it takes £9.59 out of your account, saying you have to turn rolling subscriptions off 24 hours before the account is payable. The app doesn’t appear in your iTunes subscriptions so you cannot cancel your account. Upon contacting the company to explain the situation, I cannot get a proper response from them, only trying to push me into subscribing further and paying them more money. The whole pricing system is deceiving and designed to make it so you do not fully understand what you have signed up to. Then they make it near impossible to cancel your account, with any chance of a refund not even acknowledged.A very underhanded company, they don’t deserve your custom, regardless of how the product does or does not work.

I downloaded this app simply to check it out for £1.99… as soon as I had installed it I declined subscription and removed the app.. I was then billed £9.95 without actually subscribing to this app… no trace of the app in my apple subscriptions or anything yet they accessed my PayPal for payment… I went through PayPal as unauthorised payment.. PayPal stopped further payments but no refund was given… I would not recommend giving your account details for this company at all…“update” since sending totalav an email and then responding saying they cancelled my account I received an email today saying payment has failed so they are clearly still trying to take money from my bank account without my permission.. I do not understand why Apple allows scams on there App Store… but of a joke considering apple are supposed to be all about security 👎🏻
