Really good app to use to get work when short or wanting to plan ahead, however with it being feedback based can be hard to get “shortlisted”as a new member as you don’t have any feedback so the customer will obviously choose the tradesmen with the most positive feedback, I feel like a feature needs to be added where the customer needs to state on the advert when they would like the job done as I’ve spent a lot of money on leads for the customer to turn round and say they want me to start “tomorrow” having this kind of feature would allow you to not shortlist yourself for a job that you can’t start when they want an save you some money, besides the points stated it’s definitely an app worth trying if your short on work or starting out by yourself.
TERRIBLE APP
No Codding
This company offers tradespeople contact with potential clients, I am in construction, I went through the sign up process and found it was straight forward but the obvious tie you in signs are apparent ... must check and verify all contact details and must confirm payment card (of which they take the numbers obviously) you can 'show interest' in any jobs on the list ... 90% of are very low yield, single day (or less) jobs more related to a handyman than tradesmen, I found out that 6 days prior I had been sent a message from a prospective customer yet there was no notification of this on the app, which I'd been checking a couple of times a day as it CONSTANTLY sends you notifications for little jobs in your target area ... it was 6 days old the message and they charged me £53 because I'd had this customer send me a single message ... not that I'd got the job for this customer ... I've never gotten a reply from customer service (which is simply a submission form, there is NO WAY OF CALLING THEM) this feels very scam like now I'm at the point of no contact still with them ... I will have to pull my bank account to stop them attempting to take this money any further. BE WARNED ... the work is poor anyway what's on offer ... very few decent jobs and the ones that are will have 10 plus trying to get it at the same time (all of which may pay the 'FEE' these clowns are charging ... meaning they could make anything from £200 - £1000 with ten people trying to get a single job from 1 client .. beware guys

Jobs come through on a slow regular basis, some jobs are really good and some are tatty but obviously that’s just down to the customers that want things doing. My issue with this app is that as soon as a job comes through that is of decent value and worth the time doing. Within minutes you have maybe 5 people express interest and then the customer has accepted all five which means every single person who has been shortlisted for that job has to pay a fee of around £10-£20 on average even if you don’t get the work. How is that fair? I get these guys have to make money for the service but there needs to be something in place where the customer can only shortlist one person and if they don’t like that tradie or the price given they have to post again to have another look. It’s not like they can message you and talk before they shortlist. It’s stupid. The amount of jobs I see on a daily basis where people are paying £20 for nothing because they didn’t even get the job is rediculous honestly. In my eyes this app is just a scam to be quite honest. Money making scheme got the owners and most of the time you can’t even get a good job through. Jobs are too far away and a small profit so not worth it. You turn your radius down when searching and you don’t really get much through so I wouldn’t recommend to use this for your main source of leads.
Not good for everyone

I’ve been trying to gain work using my builder, but unfortunately have had people shortlist me and before I have a chance to quote for the work they have given it to someone else, this means that I then have to pay a shortlist fee and that can be from £3-£30, the market is saturated with the same trades and you will find 9-10 people with reviews showing interest for the same work. So far it’s cost me £25 to show interest in two jobs, the first one wouldn’t answer their phone after shortlisting me and cost me £14 and then £11 this morning without a chance to quote for the work and given to the person who just threw a quote in without looking at the work first. There is no way to remove your account or information on the app which is worrying. if you are going to use this app, I would recommend cheating and getting friends to sign up and pretend they have got you to do work for them and give you a positive review otherwise you will not win any work and these people will shortlist you forcing you to pay a fee without a chance at securing the work.
Bug fixes and performance improvements for a smoother experience.
