Just wanted to say that the new Plex integration is fantastic. I have a lot of 4K HDR movies with Atmos soundtracks which I stream from my Plex server to my 4K TV. Previously when trying to watch these movies on my iPad my Plex server couldn’t handle the real time conversion of the movie before streaming it in lower resolution and audio to my iPad. Now, with Infuse all my Plex server needs to do is stream the native 4K and Atmos formats to my iPad and Infuse performs necessary conversion in real time using the power of my iPad. Brilliant. One note of caution. I use an iPad Pro 10.5 and conversion is perfect. As it is on my iPhone X. But an older iPad Air struggled with the conversion which I expect is due to the lower processor capability. However, with Blu-ray Full HD movies it worked perfectly on older iPad. So a new iPad is only needed if you want to stream 4K movies. In addition the Infuse interface is great. It grabs all the movies and TV art from the Plex server and looks great. It’s so good that I now watch all my content via Infuse rather than Plex app.
So good!!

Off on hols finally! Needed something to just grab some tvshows and movies from my nas for being offline from any network for a long plane trip…. well I tried documents From readdle… (network bit is fine and actually a lot faster than infuse) but the video player and Gui is horrible… so tried vlc… it was close… but when you clicked download there was no queue or indication that anything was downloading… then saw infuse.. tried… immediately loved it. The gui, the gorgeous library, massive customisation options are killer. BUT (is a tiny thing…….) when I’m browsing. My nas media… I can’t search or sort by date or anything…. Would love a bit more options when browsing nas (via smb3) Also the speed downloading a whole show to my iPad over same Wi-Fi/network/ nas via smb3 are 2x longer than the same show on documents by readdle… some optimisations could be made here I’m sure. Also you need to dm me for the third feature as it’s pretty big (revolutionary idea, no idea how to implement it) Thanks for such a killer app. Will be sucked into some content with it on the plane tomorrow,✈️.. your app made it easy and looks stunning (Jellyfin like) x
Top-notch app, but may be difficult for newbies

After spending time setting up my Jellyfin server and syncing it with Infuse over the past couple of months, I've successfully overcome technical hurdles. Now, I have a highly polished personal streaming platform running from my Synology NAS with Jellfin, across all my family's devices (iPhones, iPads, Apple TVs). Initially, I gave this app a 3/4 star rating due to some technical difficulties. However, now that I've grasped how it works (some issues were due to my own technical ignorance), I rate it 5 stars. While there are occasional bugs, it's an overall solid app with an excellent user interface. It handles all formats I've thrown at it, and the picture/sound quality is consistently impressive. My top request for developers is to include the ability to play features/extras from the 'featurettes' and 'extras' folders stored alongside films and shows on my NAS. Additionally, I hope they continue to address any bugs.
AMAZING! Unbelievable features you’d not think possible on iOS

Firstly, I’ve been using Infuse on 3 iPads now, each time upgrading. I never leave reviews on the AppStore due to time shortage I have (work). BUT Infuse Pro is an App that DESERVES a review regardless. 1. Firstly the design interface, regardless, has the Metadate (Title, Synopsis, Artwork) of each video file. 2. Has the ability to add files to your Library through direct cable connection, SMB/AFP sharing and Http Local. 3. I have one of my main Hard Drives with pretty much any video file Downloaded in the past Decade attached to my iMac (if not MacBook) 95% of the time. -This allows me to stream using Infuse Pro directly from that, using AFP/SMB from my Mac and download from there too! +My locally networked Hard Drives are also accessible. Infuse Pro doesn’t just allow you to view the files and their extensions even if streamed, it is visually the same as having it in your Infuse Library. (Title, Synopsis, Artwork are all there for this!) And I can Bookmark folders on there. INCREDIBLE AND LIKE NO OTHER APP. 4. It allows pretty much any video type, mkv, avid or any other exotic file type - infuse can play it, and AUTOMATICALLY recognize what it is, add metadata Title, Synopsis, Artwork etc which is incredible. 5. Plus it’s FAST and doesn’t drain you iPad like other on the fly or converting on the fly apps which I won’t mention to point fingers. Infuse is one of a kind. With COUNTLESS FEATURES which I could go on and on about for hours. After working hard all day it’s perfect! To conclude, if I had to pick one app to have on my iPad (Work aside) - Infuse Pro is the app I’d choose. Plus it’s reasonably priced! At the most £0.99 a month. That’s not much for what this app does. MESSAGE TO THE Infuse APP DEVELOPERS — well done and thank you, you’ve created something amazing, reasonably priced, an intelligent app, with countless setting and customizations that I can’t now live without. THANK YOU AND WELL DONE 😃👍
