I'm the parent of a junior member. It is good for logging availability and keeping an eye on fixtures etc but the notifications are driving us up the wall (I don't want notification every time a chat is updated, just the important stuff like team selection and fixture changes). In fact I don't want chat at all but can't seem to disable the notifications without losing the important ones. Also when I open the app the dashboard icon usually has a notification badge but hangs when I try to click on it. The app is good in theory but a bad end user experience.

Thank you for your review - please use the built in support chat to report any issues you may have experienced. If you don't tell us about a problem very hard for us to resolve it. All chats have a mute option - similar to WhatsApp - click the title bar of the chat and then select the time period you want to mute notifications. Hope this helps!
The worst app ever

Teamo is arguably one of the worst apps I’ve ever used and that’s not even hyperbole. It’s objectively poor and a bad user experience.The selected team sheet will randomly refresh constantly so you can’t scroll down to view the list. If you’re not a captain but are in a team you sometimes can’t view the selected team as it’s a blank page. Whilst the option is there to select someone else’s availability for a match, the button sometimes doesn’t do anything.When someone sends a video in a chat (individual or group) the video has this blank screen appear that you have to dismiss to be able to then press play and watch it. If you send a message on your phone (or on a computer through the website), if you try to look at it on the opposite device the chat history doesn’t match up.Occasionally your list of messages just simply won’t show up at all (won’t load). It’s a nightmare to try and edit your profile, the UX is all over the place. The app isn’t responsive so it sometimes takes a couple seconds for the interface to catch up.That’s just the highlights. This genuinely is the worst app I’ve ever used and I hate the fact that my club uses it because I could build a better app than this. I’m in awe of how bad they’ve managed to make this app, that if it worked well, would be insanely good but it’s so janky and rubbish, I hate having to use it all the time (as I’m a team captain).Please make this app better. Please.

We have recently moved all our juniors (just under 1000 members) to Teamo for the season ahead so all our Club is on one sports management app. We are absolutely delighted with the system and have been supported endlessly by Joe. We were initially reluctant to make the move, we had been using a previous system for many seasons and the idea of the transition was daunting. However, with Joe’s support, it has been much smoother and easier than we had expected. He has not only been very responsive on emails but he has also run workshops for our coaches and admins. I have also been very impressed that they have taken on some of our feedback and already made changes to the app. They also seem very open to exploring ways to improve their systems. Some of the features, over and above what you might expect from a sports admin app are providing guides and doing personalised workshops for our admins and coaches, a support email address, uploading fixtures in bulk and club wide comms.
