After resisting the urge to give a Christian dating site a chance - I finally did. There are a few out there that claim to be for Christians, but when you go on them - it quickly becomes obvious that the majority of users aren’t Christians. Christian Connection feels like a more authentic Christian Dating site to me - and I think that’s cause it is run by Christians. They produce helpful blog posts every now and again for suggestions on dating - including during the restrictions we’re currently in. For those of you who have never used a dating site before - my advice is simply to be patient, and be really honest. It might take some time before you meet someone you wanna have a date with. I had 2 spells as a member on Christian Connection - and I think I was a bit impatient first time round, however I am now happy to say I have met a really special girl after giving it another go.

If you’re serious about dating, don’t waste your money. The app is super expensive and mostly full of people who just want to like your profile rather than genuinely meet. Use Salt instead, it’s free and you get far better functionality. For the developers, please consider the filtering, user experience and value for money. The likes and waves concept is rediculous. My messages screen got cluttered up with so many pages of ‘messages’ saying “Person x likes you” in just a few days. Whilst that seems like a nice ego boost, it’s overwhelming and I can’t find my genuine messages. It would be much better if Likes and waves were shown on a different screen to messages so I could separate the two. I also can’t easily remove people from my message screen who I don’t want to speak to anymore. I can block them but the messages don’t disappear. It would be great if they moved to an archive screen or something so I don’t keep clicking back into them. The pricing and the overwhelming number of likes make this app worse than useless. The app setup forces users to give out their mobile number far earlier than other dating apps because not everyone is a paid member and because it’s impossible to see the wood through the trees on the messages screen. You tell people not to do this for safety reasons but there’s no real alternative. You have a big user base but make poor use of it. I am a paid member but I have switched to another dating app and won’t be renewing.

I am currently using this app but I am so very disappointed with the lack of response from the female community on it, most never seem to log on for weeks on end lots of them use very unfriendly pr written no thank you messages but the majority just never respond at all? Sorry but it’s a complete waste of money and not what I would expect from a Christian site, please can you do something about this because I really cannot see any reason to renew my subscription.I have recently been in hospital and a simple operation has become more serious but one person who I will not not name has reached out to me in prayer and very good faith with me, I am still very ill but I am hopeful that she and I just might be able to look at this and laugh

Sadly, this alp is simply not on the same level as non-Christian dating apps. I was hoping for better. The free version is very restrictive. You can’t filter by anything but area unless you pay. The app chooses to show you people in the age range it thinks you should see. Equivalent non-Christian apps don’t charge you to filter your search. That’s a crazy thing to charge for. Why would I upgrade to the paid version when every single profile I see doesn’t interest me because I can’t filter? All that leaves me thinking is that there’s no-one on the site I like. I scrolled through many pages of profiles and no-one interested me. Maybe if I could choose the filters I want to meet, I might have seen people I like and upgraded to the paid version. Sadly, I deleted my profile and will use other dating apps. This one needs to be brought up to the level of other dating alps if they want to draw people in.
