I have been using Surfshark for a few months now and so far I’m very impressed. (Hence my holding back with a review) I was shopping around for a while and came across Surfshark and read up on it. I was very speculative at first as I’d not heard of them before. I’d almost gone with one of the more common VPN’s due to popularity mainly but decided to throw a few questions across via Live Chat and all questions where answered which was a huge positive and to be fair the price was unquestionably amazing. I had nothing to lose with a free trial and never looked back. I don’t use it as often as I could but there’s no loss, given the deal and to be fair, I’m so impressed, especially with the ease of the apps via all my devices compared to others used prior to Surfshark and ‘touch wood’ I’ve never had a problem using my VPN, no connection loss and at times I’ve had my connection going for long periods, nor had to contact customer support for anything.Great work guys/gals - Easy 5 Stars from me!Anyone shopping around for a new VPN I would highly recommend giving Surfshark a try!

The problem with reviews is that there is never a straight answer. I actually think Surfshark (when it works) isn’t too bad but dealing with their customer support dept. is a nightmare. Literally conflicting, confusing and complicated answers where so many of their staff get involved and don’t bother to read (more importantly; understand) the previous messages because the replies are given randomly by someone different every time and invariably they don’t bother to actually see what their colleagues have said earlier. Add the gushing platitudes and “hope you’re having a wonderful day” or similar cringing comments “ hope you’re doing great” when obviously due to the problem one is not “ doing great”. “ Have a delightful day” , “stay safe” ….. yuk I could go on. Oh ok maybe they are all Americans who love this gushing nonsense. Main thing is; read the blasted problem and answer the question and let’s deal with one person; not, in my case, over a dozen people who just complicate things and never quite see or answer the question or keep to dealing with the issue in context. Ok, I know they are being friendly but FGS just deal with the problem. Now just wait for a robotic, inane answer from G knows who?

Signed up decently via main website, as there are really good deals to be had at the moment. Tried other VPNs, but their speed hit was not acceptable. Despite spending hours trying various servers, I could not get any of them to offer a decent speed ( barely able to get 100 Mbps), but when trying Surfshark, I was really pleased with the speed. Currently getting just under 800 Mbps from a USA server, so can’t complain about that!They have apps for IOS that are east to use, clear and explanatory. You can quickly toggle VPN on or off as needed to avoid potential problems with some sites detecting international IP as being out of the ordinary.For the UK in the present climate, you really need to consider a VPN, as censorship is now a reality. The inability to access many sites, community forums or common websites with over zealous age restriction is now totally unacceptable. Highly recommended and no wonder UK VPN sales have rocketed and continue to do so - just look at the top app downloads in the UK!
