Before I purchased this app, my Xbox One S often sat dormant below the family living room tv, occasionally playing the odd Blu-ray movie or a short stint of Forza. The only time I got to play on it was late at night when I’m just too tired to be bothered. Now I can play Xbox on an iPad whilst my kids and wife are watching the TV! This has not only unleashed new life into my console, but also into my 4 year old iPad Air! My Xbox One S is connected via LAN Ethernet, as recommended, and I have fairly decent WiFi throughout the house, so the streaming works perfectly everywhere in my home. I’m also amazed at how far the Xbox controller works away from the console! I’ve been playing Forza Horizon 4 through the app- this is a ridiculously fast game but I found the frame rate is pretty much un-compromised with a tiny ever-so-slight lag to the control. It’s amazing to behold on an iPad! The only slight criticism I have with the app is that you cant see and enter the Xbox sign-in through the app itself in order to open the stream connection. Basically I can switch on the console remotely from my bedroom using the wireless pad. However you need to sign in to your Xbox before the console can make a stream connection with the app. Therefore I initially had to leave my bedroom and turn the living room tv on in order to sign in on the Xbox and connect to the app. Next time I’ll try and blindly sign in, which I’m sure will be a good enough compromise. All in all, this is an excellent app, and I really can’t believe Microsoft hasn’t created something like this themselves - it could’ve been a killer app in the early days of the Xbox One!
Fantastic app

This app just gets better and better. The developer constantly brings new updates for free. It’s a one off purchase rather than a subscription which is how apps should be. Now there are a few reviews that are now badly out of date or posted by people who haven’t read the instructions. 1. Make sure your X box is connected to your home network via an Ethernet cable to your router or network switch. This will eliminate lag. (It’s to do with WiFi can only speak to one client device at a time and can either send or receive, it is unable to do both at the same time. (Google Half-Duplex) Ethernet doesn’t have this issue. 2. Pair the app with your Xbox and Robert’s your mother;’s brother. It’s an Xbox on your iPad. Kudos to the developer for an app that continues to bring me great joy and for the updates.
Very impressed! And at such a low cost!

Forget the need to buy an extra tv or monitor! This app has it all! Turns your iPad or iPhone into a mobile tv that you can take anywhere in your house! Would love to see eventually a higher resolution and framerate option added in the future but 1080p is fine with me, have had no buffering or issues with the app so far, I have had absolutely no issues with this app so far! Love playing ark anywhere in the house! Always handy to have on me in case I get raided, all il need is my tab and I’m set 🤣 having the option to use either my Xbox pad or on screen buttons is helpful too! A must have for any Xbox gamer!
It’s a screen mirror for Xbox one

Like my title suggests it displays what is currently running on your Xbox one. It’s convenient for running two Xbox one consoles with only one tv available, or for playing in a different room without the hassle of moving or even owning extra hardware. Now the down side: you must have an Xbox one controller connected to the console and powered on. The controller must be plugged into usb otherwise it will turn off for power saving causing this app to disconnect and, the on screen controller can’t be used while the Xbox one controller is connected so, use your controller or just use this app to monitor your game while you’re afk. Also this is NOT a play anywhere app! Both the Xbox one and the device this app is running on must be connected to the same network!
• Added "Stretched" video display mode
• Made "Hide not owned games" enabled by default
• "Video resolution" setting is now "Video quality", with the choice between High, Regular and Low
• Fixed issue that prevented certain microphones from working
• Miscellaneous bug fixes and stability improvements
