Diarium helps you keep a private diary and daily journal for memories, photos, mood, travel, gratitude, and everyday notes without ads or subscriptions.
Capture what happened today, add the details that matter, and build a personal timeline you can return to for years. Write quick reflections or longer entries, attach rich media, and keep your journal protected with password, PIN, Face ID, or Touch ID.
What you can do with Diarium:
• Write a personal diary, daily journal, gratitude journal, bullet journal, photo diary, or travel journal
• Add photos, drawings, audio recordings, files, tags, people, ratings, and locations
• Track mood with star ratings and tracker tags
• Revisit memories in calendar, timeline, and travel map views
• Use lists and text formatting for notes, reflections, and routines
• Set daily reminders to make journaling a habit
• Add day context from your camera roll, calendar, weather, tasks, workouts, social activity, and entertainment activity
• Import from Apple Journal and supported diary apps such as Day One, Diaro, Journey, Daylio, Diarly, Daybook, and Evernote
• Back up your diary database and export entries as Word, HTML, JSON, or plain text
Your journal can continue with you across supported phone, tablet, laptop, and desktop versions. Optional sync uses your own cloud storage, including iCloud, OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, or WebDAV, so no separate Diarium account is required.
Diarium is designed for long-term journaling: daily thoughts, family memories, trips, photos, gratitude, feelings, and the small moments that make up your life. It stays personal, flexible, and secure, whether you write every day or whenever something is worth remembering.
Diarium is free to use with optional Diarium Pro for advanced features such as sync, unlimited attachments per entry, Word export for printing, connected feeds, custom fonts, widgets, and weather in entries. Pro features can be tested for 7 days after installing.
Diarium Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The purchase is linked to your Apple ID and unlocks Pro for iOS/iPadOS; a separate Pro purchase may be required on other platforms.
Like this app. Was looking for a replacement for day 1 as i don’t want to be tied to a yearly subscription in order to add recordings to my entries. I am a blind person who uses voiceover on an iPhone se2020 and appreciate the easy functionality. Before coming to you i have been using diaro and day 1. I was able to transfer my day 1 stuff over but not my diaro stuff for some reason. As i said i am a blind person and have some questions. Would have emailed you directly but couldn’t find where to send you a message at this point. Firstly, if i am looking at an entry from the past how can i easily see what time i posted it. You can see the entry on the time line but not the time of day it was written. Do you have to go to change time and date in order to see this? Also it says on app description you can get your daily step count. How do i do this? Guess it’s somewhere in settings. If it is, which heading do i need to look for? Great app and well worthy of 5 stars. Look forward to seeing how it develops. Kind regards and good luck. Will be really good when entries are automatically time stamped and i hope that 1 day we will see the weather conditions at the actual time of writing and not just the expected high for that day. The weather goes way back in time though, it’s really good. I wish the sharing issue could be dealt with but that’s not the app’s fault it’s down to apple. The issue to which i refer is when you share entries from other apps once you’ve shared 9 times in the same day the new entry button disappears for those of us who rely on voiceover. This is a shame but as i say it’s down to ios and not your good self. Still worth 5 stars whatever.

Thanks a lot for your review. Small update to my previous response: you can now display the time of an entry by enabling the corresponding option in the app settings
The Best Diary App Out There!

For years I have used Efficient Diary. Similar setup (or so I thought). All my entries available across all my devices. A recent phone upgrade refused to copy over the app as it was no longer in the App Store. Investigations revealed that the company had vanished sometime in the 2000’s.I came across Diarium (and a couple of other apps) and decided to give it a go. I’m so glad I did. This is an awesome app which has every facility you could possibly want. A simple but powerful interface which allows photos, sound recordings, tags, files etc to be added to any entry. The search facility is fast and accurate. All in all it’s a very well written piece of user friendly software.Highly recommended.

Honestly cannot fault this app for journaling, I’ve been using it everyday for the past 4 months or so and I have never once had a problem. Easy to setup and use cross platform with multiple IOS devices and Windows PCs. Seamless integration of photos and location data for use in the map view. Exporting of entries in various file formats. Also, it is such a breath of fresh air the app being a non-subscription based model that I am so sick of these days, buy once and forever yours, thank you so much! If you are looking to get an app for day-to-day journaling and diary entries, seriously look no further than this one here, it is perfect and easily worth the asking price.

Great functionality and cross-platform!

I used to use Diarium on Windows 10 and Windows Mobile back when that was around but after having to move to iOS I had to look to other options as there wasn’t an iOS app at the time to the best of my knowledge.I’m absolutely thrilled to have found during some random internet searching about journals that Diarium is now available on iOS! I bought it immediately and imported all of my data across from the other app I was using (which all happened really rather quickly and without any hanging/crashing as I’ve experienced on the other app regularly!).I love the look of this app, the tie in to the camera roll and photos as well as the ability to view by timeline and map. I’m pleased to see cloud sync still works using my own cloud storage provider which I’m sure is a big part of the reason why there isn’t a monthly subscription. The biggest benefit to me though has to be cross-platform support between iOS and Windows 10! Thanks for bringing the app over to iOS, happy to support your continued development and pick up the Pro upgrade. Keep up the great work :)
