I have used the app a few times now and I have to say that it has been such a help looking for somewhere to camp overnight. On a recent trip to Cornwall I found an amazing farmers field on the app that was perfect wild camping for £10 per night that I would have never known about without the app. I would highly recommended downloading it.

I started using free stay a couple of months ago and have found some nices places to stop I was at one the other nite and we had lovely view over the sea it was quiet there and a few spaces for Motorhomes and there was a trail you could walk but if your ever stuck for anywhere to stop for night it’s worth giving this app ago

Solo lass
2024 was my first year of solo travelling in my CamperVan (female, mid sixties) and this was probably my most used app for finding stop-offs. Still learning but apps like this one makes me more confident

£10 to buy & make use of it properly

It's of very limited use if you want to create and save a list of future parking/camping possibilities in the app. They let you save just 3 before having to pay £9.99 for 'Premium'.Maybe it's more useful in France, etc., than England, as there are probably a lot more 'free' or 'stealth' places to park up for the night.

Hello RobertSolo,We are sorry you are not fully happy with our vanlife app. Most of the app's features such as access to maps, photos and reviews are free. Trip planning is available in the premium package. Many new spots all over Europe are added to StayFree every day. Maybe someday you will try our app again :) Happy camping!
