The app looked great and I was so rxcited to get started but then the flaw- the up front fee!!! I would have happily signed up and committed for six months at the given price if I could have paid monthly. But no way could I afford the full six monthly fee in one hit! Woman on her own paying a mortgage here!! Update: after receiving notification from the developers, apparently the subscription is paid monthly but when you click on the option to pay the total is shown as your payment and not the individual monthly amount so I’m not convinced.

I came to this app/site after GS closed its doors, because it offers a very similar service. I had lots of likes and messages and some lovely conversations, which have led to meetings. Everyone I chatted to was genuine, friendly and honest. There was a little bit of angst about ‘ghosting’, when actually a conversation had simply run its course and stopped; but that was one small incident over two months of chatting freely with some really nice people.The company owns several domains, so I received messages from the other, similar sites; but all above board and genuine. It’s not a ‘hook-up’ site, and no nasty pictures.The price is justified by the quality, I think.I’m giving it a break for a month or so to see if the match I made works out. I’m sure it will, but I’ll definitely use the app again if not.

Have been on this site for nearly a year. I have been scammed (or at least potentially) about 10 times. All profiles should be verified. The majority of likes I have received have turned out to be mistakes (people flicking right) and not realising they have ‘liked’ me. I have been asked some very odd and at times sexually-offensive questions. The majority of messages I send get ignored. I always respond to messages even if it is to say thank you but no thank you. It is common courtesy that most men on the site seem to lack. In spite of stating that I am looking only for local dates, the site send me potential dates from up to 100 miles away. The whole experience has left me doubting that I will ever meet my knight in shining armour and I am about to unsubscribe in order to retain both my dignity and my sanity.

I constantly find I have messages noted, one presumes to read. Having spent lots of time trying to locate these ‘messages’ without luck I contact Support. They are invisible & IF they respond it doesn’t address what the issue is. I presently am waiting over a week& chased after five days yet still no response at all so I allowed my subscription to expire!I have learnt that these ‘messages’ that I can’t find are in fact either messages that I have sent (why on earth would this be flagged as a message 🤷‍♀️) and also if an account has been removed be it by the site or the person. These should not be marked as u do in messages! Finally & serious there are so many scammers that if someone looks too good to be true they probably are. Best to talk on site before phone numbers exchanged!
