I absolutely love the look and feel of the user interface which is very easy to use. Customer support has always been very helpful and polite when dealing with them on the phone .Would like to see an option to add comments when withdrawing money which would then be added to the transaction page under the amount going out.

Slow to update

Balances a lot slower to update than other banking apps. Monzo and Chase transfers show immediately. Marcus leaves you hanging wondering if your transfer went ok, which for a large amount of money is… yeah, not great. The limitation of only being able to transfer from a single linked and approved account so you have to bounce money around rather than just paying into savings from wherever your money is also proves incredibly irritating when you have multiple current or savings accounts. Good rates when they have a bonus deal on, but making the effort and waiting for them to either review documentation to link an account, or send money to your linked account, then send a small amount, then wait ages to confirm it went to the right account, then transfer the full amount, is often not really worth the extra 0.5% a month. By all accounts this is Goldman Sachs’ attempt at a modern challenger bank so not sure why their systems seem to be set up like a bank from 30 years ago.

I quite like the app but it is really slow either showing money that has been transferred into the account or transferred out of the account to the linked account.With an Atom account the transfer in or out from your linked account is done within a few seconds.With Marcus it can be 10 or 15 minutes to hit your linked account.Obviously Marcus back end systems are not up to the task.My linked bank account tells me almost instantly when money leaves to go to Atom Bank and with a second or so Atom notifies me that money has been received.

First of all, Thanks for the new version of app. It looks great.As a user, I needed to share my last 6 months' statement. Unfortunately, the mobile app does not have filter or download statement features. Additionally, when I request 6 months' transactions on the web app, it downloads the full statement from the beginning of the account creation, which is not what I expected. It would be very helpful if these inconsistencies and missing features could be addressed.
