Smaller and bigger zone sizes are now available.

- New notification sound (AW169) - Tap on relative times in detail view (e.g. 15 hours ago) to see the absolute time (e.g. yesterday 9:34) - Toggle Airbase and Hospitals directly from the layers panel (where supported by region) - Set route length directly from the radar toggle - More new US icons

Some bug fixes and technical improvements: * Settings screen back button no longer reloads the entire app * Fixed personalisation for ads permissions * Memory usage improvements * Zooming out now respects icon type setting * Fixed aircraft list overlapping other toggles on screen when expanded

- Fixed a small bug on the settings screen - The missing aircraft form now points to a different form for quicker processing

AirAssist crosses the ocean! Adding support for over 1200 new aircraft, covering a big chunk of the US HEMS aircraft, and some police aircraft. If you are missing aircraft, please reach out! This update also adds support for opening the app on your current location. And some bug fixes, and technical updates to keep the app ready for the future!

Introducing Flights! • Aircraft change, flights stay the same — follow a flight instead of a single airframe • New flight detail panel with flight history • Mark flights as favourite • Get notified on takeoff, or when another aircraft takes over • Search now finds flights and call signs too Also: a roomier search bar and various small improvements.

Improvements in aircraft animation on the map

- You can now temporarily pause a zone without deleting it. Resume it whenever you're ready. - Some minor tweaks around login and password forgot

Bug fixes and stability improvements.

- Live Traffic, Display real-time road traffic to help identify accident locations more easily - Updated aircraft filter and notification screens

- Support for Portugal, Spain and some additional aircraft for other regions - Smoother animations for aircraft on map

Improved History Timeline The history playback view has a completely redesigned timeline. Swipe left and right to scrub through up to 30 days of flight history; it snaps to the nearest minute and shows time markers as you scroll, making it much easier to jump to a specific moment. Performance improvements I've put a lot of work into making the app run smoother overall; animations are more fluid, aircraft markers update more naturally, and clusters on the map now properly group nearby POI icons too. On top of that, there's a new Performance Mode for users on older devices that reduces animations and visual effects. The app will automatically detect when your device is struggling and suggest enabling it, or you can toggle it manually in Settings → Miscellaneous. French & Italian The app is now available in French and Italian.

Support for Sweden, Finland and Italy is here!

Just some minor fixes this time: - Weather warning stays away longer when ignored (highly requested with the foggy weather recently) - Multiple P2000 markers on the exact same location flickering fixed

Introducing PRO! Now with rain radar, and 30 days history playback

This time just a small fix, but one that will be nice for a lot of people. The message if you want to create an account was rather heavy-handed (it ignored if you clicked "no" due to a typo). Apologies, and hereby fixed! But by all means, feel free to create a free account if you haven't done so yet ;-)

What's new: - Terrain map view Fixes: - Moving the zone marker when navigation feature is enabled doesn't cause overlapping modals anymore

As the year winds down, I present you the final update for 2024. Nothing big, just some new aircraft (designs). Also, when you are on premium and don't have an account in the app yet, the app will nudge you to create one (you don't have to, it's still optional). This ties into to something bigger coming Q1 next year. From here I also want to thank you for using the app this year, and hopefully you'll stay to see the awesome stuff I've got planned for next year. Happy holiday's for you and your loved ones. And see you in the new year! All the best, Ernst

A minor update today, with some long wanted/open requests! What's new: - Show aircraft type on aircraft detail - Persist show favorite setting - Add search to route color screen (to make it usable again) Fixes: - Switching between two offline detail aircraft showed the incorrect route

More police aircraft in France and Austria

Add support for Austria and France

Depending on your selected region, this updates gives either some new features or only some fixes! In the UK and the Netherlands, the big incident feature is now fully released. You can use the specially added tab to view the alerts you've been receiving, and check the location and dispatched helicopters. Are you seeing false positive reports? Please report them through the interface! Fixes: - The takeoff notification list is now back - You can now set the big incident notifcations per country - startup bug that made the app crash for some users - crash in zone history

Fix for premium purchases and subscriptions. Did you unroll for premium in the previous version (2.8.1) but don't have any premium features? Please restore purchase now on the bottom of the premium screen!
