I’ve played this game for about half a year now, and I’ve been taking a break for the past month as I burned myself out playing it so much. There’s a lot of reviews on here that complain about buying your way through the game and that it imbalances the game, and I’d like to say, that those people are wrong. Buying the next tier for a character does little more than boost its power level and make it slightly easier to defeat other players. You don’t take the time to grind for that next level and earn the skill with that character, which makes it easier to use that character in future. Too many people are complaining about this and I just don’t understand. I’ve spent nothing, nothing, on this game, and I’ve never felt that I’m underpowered or bad at the game because of it. If you play for a respectable amount of time each day or 2, you’ll get that next level really quickly in retrospect. And as a bonus you’ll earn the skill and knowledge to beat that raven who can disable your weapons if he hits you, or to kill the Levi that will blind you and jam your weapons if she fires. It’s all about learning those facts and information that will help you decide whether or not to engage in that fight or to wait for a better opportunity. It’s all about learning for good and bad encounters and what they look like. That’s what paying to win doesn’t do for you. This game is great, it has been one of my favourite games I’ve ever played. I’m not sure if I’m ever going to return to it, but, I can say for sure, that it was a massive amount of fun while it lasted. For that, devs, I say thank you.Corbalorb, Mythic 3, 2491 Trophies
