I am playing this game for a month now, every evening a couple of levels. I didn’t buy it yet, so I get to “enjoy” a few adds here and there, but to me personally it is not so annoying as in some other games. For a start, majority of adds can be skipped using “forward” button in the corner. In addition, I do understand that developers need to earn some money in order for me to continue playing for free.I am currently on level 421 and I am surprised when some people are saying that they needed to pay money in order to proceed through levels - this is not my case. Maybe I am just lucky, but I am managing to win some money through opening teams chests once in 2 days (you just need to progress more than your team mates), etc.I really enjoy the game and it is very relaxing after long working day - just allowing to switch the brain off and match things.

I know ads are necessary to keep games free for those that can’t pay for them, but there are good ways to include ads and terrible ways to include them and in this game they are just awful and completely ruin gameplay. Every 2 minutes they interrupt you mid-game and I’ve had several that take you to App Store and don’t let you close to get back to the game. It’s true that a lot of these ads can be “skipped” before the end but there are so many of them and of course you can’t just “skip”, you wait for the button to appear so you “skip”, then you have a 5 second countdown before you can hit an “X” button to close, which then causes an App Store link to pop up which again you have to close, then you go in circles clicking the “X” again, App Store ad pops up again, click the “X” again… drives me bonkers!!! It’s also worth noting that this games ads are one of the worst offenders in other free to play games so I’m not surprised really.It’s a shame because the game itself is actually quite fun, could be really addictive if it wasn’t for so many adverts. I’m finding many of the levels are virtually impossible in the amount of time you are given so instead of these intrusive ads interrupting the game, why don’t you give players the option of watching an ad to get an extra 30 seconds or so more than the current once a day.In its current format I’m deleting as there are more adverts than gameplay, which for me completely ruins it and I’m fed up before very long.

I previously wrote a review and gave it 2 stars now it has to be 1 star!!! The game has hit progressively worse to play with glitches & time wasting adverts that just go on and on & yes I understand that you need adverts to find your game but seriously the amount is overkill and off putting for what was once a fun game to play! I have been playing less and less due to ongoing issues after the last update it kept glitching out and shutting down the game which meant I lost progress, lost lives & lost patience!!! They told me there was nothing wrong with the game despite screen recordings showing this issue! Most recently the last week there has been an issue with one of the adverts it’s a Royal Match advert featuring Stacey Solomon & when it ends it restarts itself & you never get the X to close the advert it just keeps going on a loop so you have to to force close the game which means you don’t get the extra points for watching the advert (also adverts used to be a max of 30 seconds & now it’s more like a minimum of 45 seconds) I have made contact several times advising that the advert is broken & ruining the game & have had no response the advert is still there still broken & so I give up on the game I’ll go and play royal match instead ironically the advert causing the issue which is also a free to play game WITHOUT adverts!!! You are literally turning people away from your game to other games because it is so broken and you don’t care 🤷‍♀️

The game itself is excellent - a simple concept but very well executed.However, I found the commercial aspects of the game highly irritating. First, adverts - the basic version of the game forces you to watch (very) long adverts between levels. This was so irritating that I decided to buy the “ad free” version in the hope that I would be able to just enjoy the game. Whilst this solves the need to watch an advert between every level, the game still takes every opportunity to try and force you to watch an ad by stealth - e.g. if you fail a level, there appears to be an option to extend play. However, unless you have sufficient “coins” (btw how you earn and hold these is a complete mystery and for some reason the number you can accumulate is capped unless you pay for an in-game add-in) you can inadvertently be forced to watch an ad with no way out. Personally, I find this outrageous when I’ve forked out for an ad free version. The other aspect that is irritating is the way that the game is constant trying to force you to spend more money - in particular, in order to buy more coins (again, it’s a mystery how these work) or to buy “cheats” that make a level easier. In the later stages of the game, these “cheats” actually become a necessity to pass the level as the time allowed to clear is so limited as to make it impossible without. Again, I resent this after having paid for an ad-free version. It’s also patently obvious that certain levels have been made all but impossible in order to force you to buy a “cheat” to be able to advance.
