I absolutely love this game it’s very entertaining, however… there are SOME things that are very expensive others not so much I don’t have a problem watching adds too get gems and logging on too the game so I can get my daily gift but the again we only get 1 or 2 diamonds and on day seven we get 6 which is nice but still not enough the choices aren’t that good or bad so I don’t really spend gems on choices. And saving gems can also help u get a lot of gems because u can replay the same season! Which is also good!! But also if we could get the tickets quicker that would be nice as well maybe 1 hour instead of 2 hours for 1 ticket! However I love this game and some people are putting negative reviews about it but honestly you should try it for a week or so and I had the game but deleted it cause I wasn’t interested in the game when I started to play it but I downloaded it again and played it for a while and now I am obsessed with it! For whatever reason, this game reached its peak at s2, the writers were amazing. Every character was so fleshed out and the stories, the drama, the romantic scenes, everything felt so detailed and so immersive. No other season has come close. S1-3 were on the old app and removed. Not many liked s3, but s1 and especially s2 were loved. When you see reviews talking about Bobby, he was from s2. I can somewhat understand not updating these “legacy” seasons for the new app, but it felt downright insulting to their original fan base when all stars came around and there wasn’t a single contestant from the first three seasons. What a shame. The writing in each season is hit or miss. Bombshell and Ex in the Villa are bland, uninspired, and a drag to get through. No interesting characters or plot lines, everyone talks like what kids imagine polite dignified grown ups to talk like. Haven’t played most of the other seasons yet, but I’ve heard it gets slightly better. These seasons compared to s1-3 also really don’t care about the choices you make. In s1-3 You’d be pulled up for comments you made, people you’ve been with, actions you did etc from MANY episodes ago in s2, but now in s6 I’ve been coupled up with one guy the entire time, got coupled up with by some other random dude and now the only thing people ask me is about the new dude and how we’re “the perfect couple” or “in it for the long term” like no we’re not i keep saying I don’t want him lol

This game is a lot more different than it was when I first played it several years ago, and not necessarily in a good way 😕 EVERYTHING costs diamonds and if you don’t have the money to throw away on games then you end up missing out on a lot of key aspects of the game. All kinds of character customisation costs diamonds, including hair, make up, jewellery, piercings, tattoos and clothes. Almost all the key/important story line choices cost diamonds so you end up missing out on the parts of the story that are what really makes it worth playing in the first place. It’s kinda boring to not be able to do anything fun at all without paying through the nose for it. There’s even parts where some of the islanders will offer to share “gossip” with you in exchange for diamonds, but that “gossip” is usually actually some important context or backstory to a situation that’s currently going on for you in the story. Basically, you NEED that information to be able to fully understand what’s really going and why. And if you can’t pay for it, you’re then left with big plot holes and gaps in the story. It’s really ruining my experience to be so restricted, especially after playing a game like Too Hot To Handle which is 100% free because it’s exclusive to Netflix subscribers. So I’m definitely feeling the restriction on this game right now. Despite all of this, I will continue playing for now in the hopes that things get more interesting as the story goes on. I loved the original game so much, I want to love this one too! ☹️

The original app that is now called “love villa” was much better, far better quality in terms of writing, length, etc. I miss season 2. This app however is lacking in many areas, season 4 is probably the best one, season 5 is traumatising and garbage, and season 6 felt extremely bland. There is no personality anymore, it feels incredibly phony, what happened to random chats about silly things, why is it always boring gossip? Why is the game so expensive to play when the quality of the writing is so poor? 29 gems for a boring scene with recycled words that feels like it’s written by a 14 year old. Wattpad is doing it better and that is saying a LOT. You need to step your game up, literally, you’ll not beat these AI allegations either with season 7 being so quickly announced for this year too. I was really hopeful for season 6, MC was actually pretty (even though her fashion is horrible, seriously fusebox what happened to fashionable clothes? She also has two left feet and no chest but at least her face isn’t a mess), we had fun challenges at the start, good drama, a great twist when MC left the villa, but it’s ruined by the fact they really dropped the ball with our return from Casa, Amelia being shoved down our throats whilst being the most insufferable character to ever exist in the game, our LI’s personality fading away and their lines being constantly repeated. Get it together, you cannot expect people to continue playing when it’s this bad.
