This is by far the best Easy Tech game yet. While their previous games have all undoubtedly been pay to win this one is not. The generals and unit tech upgrades only provide minor benefits and are therefore not essential to win. Also the cost of generals means you can amass a decent collection with the medals you win in the game - not to mention the free generals you are awarded at each campaign. I would still recommend a few purchases but probably no more than &10 which i consider extremely good value for a game with this much content. Having said that there’s an enormous amount of content you can still enjoy in this game without spending a penny

Glory of Generals 3 is fine, but definitely not my favourite of your games and, compared to the previous few games, feels like a backwards step. I was able to have a bit of fun with the campaign despite the difficulty, but the army group mode was a massive let down in my opinion. The concept of only taking control of part of a country wasn’t that appealing to me to begin with, but what leads to it being a real disappointment is its gameplay, which is far less fun then the conquests we got in the world conquerer series. Diplomacy has also taken a backwards step, with the mechanic of countries joining on different turns being removed. Despite how much I’ve been wanting a new ww2 game from you guys, I was hoping it would have all of the newest mechanics that have made games like European War 6 and Great Conquerer Rome so great and enjoyable.TL;DR - It’s not a bad game, and at least I didn’t feel like I was wasting money on getting it. However, I have no great desire to play any more of it. I wouldn’t advise someone against buying this game, but would likely suggest world conquerer 3 and 4 as I believe those to be better ww2 games.

New conquest mode is good however it seems a little hard. No matter which side I fight on my allies always do terribly, yet when I swap sides they do extremely well. It’s possible to take out one or two nations but by that time all of your allies are dead. Would be good if there was a bit more balance. Other than that- excellent
Latest update problems

Latest update (1.4.0) seems to have introduced a bug where aircraft carriers, paratroopers are no longer able to perform their special actions (ie launch air strikes, paradrop). This seems to happen randomly as this works in some turns but doesn’t on others.This is a great game - I’d say best in the series by far. Would’ve had 5 stars if it weren’t for the annoying bug as it affects your fighting ability in turn-limited missions.
