Perfect app
I’m glad I found this little gem of an app. It’s perfect for people (like me) who want a summary of a variety of news. The design is sleek and it’s very easy to use.
For improvements, if you could make it easier to create an account I’m sure that would help a lot of people. I had to go onto the website to create an account as I couldn’t see a way to do this on the app.
Not always updated, poor icon
I’ve just started using this app and can say that it’s amazing compared to most news apps. it does a spectacular job of summarizing, the most important news along with more interesting stories.
My main criticism is that the app sometimes isn’t updated. It’s 10am right now ans it’s still showing yesterdays news. For any news app to be reliable, it must be updated every day. Full stop.
Also my feedback as an app designer is that the app icon is really poor. Number one rule of icon design is not to include full words in it, especially if there’s so small not to be legible. There are so many other possibilities for this icon, so please consult a designer to discover them.
Great summary for busy people
This is the perfect vehicle for busy people who want to know what’s going on in the world, from various points of view, and over various subjects- politics, culture, gossip, the lot! It’s great also to read on the go when you’re have a few minutes here and there. Thoroughly recommend.
