I love the app. Easy to navigate, great content and brilliant puzzle section but since I updated to iOS 15 there is a problem with the puzzles when typing in crossword and sudoku. When I press a letter for the crossword it often appears twice, in the intended box and the next one. When touching a square that has a down and across clue it flicks to one then the other. When entering numbers into sudoku they appear and disappear immediately and so the enjoyment of sudoku and crossword has now become frustration with the app. This does not happen on other apps and is definitely related to iOS 15. My wife had the same problem when she upgraded weeks ago and I was fine. I finally upgraded this weekend and now it’s the same problem for both of us. Please fix this irritating problem. Thanks for an otherwise great app.
Better than live news apps

I have downloaded quite a few news apps over lockdown to try and track what is happening in the world during the crisis. Metro has by far been the most enjoyable & insightful. Unlike certain live news apps (Mail Online / the Sun) which bombard you with news updates every five minutes Metro gives you two daily papers to download which offer the day's news, politics, covid updates & sports news. I would highly recommend it to readers who enjoy a light easy read. The articles are concise, well written, humerous & factual. No annoying ads, glitches or notifications - Thank you metro 🙏🏼
Good escape from lockdown bubble / great range of puzzles

I've spent half my lockdown on the Metro app. My favourite section of the app is the range of puzzles on offer. I spend every Sunday morning getting my way through a range of jigsaws & crosswords. My husband and I have become very competitive! I also occasionally read the recommended TV section which has been really helpful. It tells you what time a TV series will air & it also gives a review. I am very happy with the app and would recommend it especially to anyone who enjoys puzzles.
Every upgrade is a downgrade

Constantly crashes. Inconsistent content. Some days you get the letters page some days not. Takes forever to move between live, editions and download. If I use the context menu to change screen brightness it crashes app and defaults to live news. Switching between apps does sameSo start again to try and read downloaded copy. Takes forever because I think it’s trying to connect to live content. No use if you’re on the tube. Never deletes old copies. Old version was so much better. Downloaded the whole edition exactly the same as printed version. Never crashed. Downloads automatically cleared after 7 days. Would give this zero stars if I could. Every upgrade makes the app worse not better. Awful ☹️
