So what's different in this game? - - - - - - - - - - It takes place in the past. In the first game to progress you had to upgrade cards and do these "dance battles" while calculating when to activate your characters 'ult'. I must admit it was very repetitive and boring at times. But this game changes the system (Ruri Tunes) to a more interactive one where you must physically tap to destroy objects as the come to your way on time. Plus the soundtrack is amazing because it features the demons songs .It's definitely much harder! There's now a Wanderers Whereabouts where you can spy on the 3D models of characters however I deem this as very repetitive as most characters do very boring actions to watch and they're all to similar. E.g "watching Lucifer listen to music" or "watching Solomon listen to music" - they're basically the same. Some of the 3D models are.... interesting like i screamed when i saw Levi's face. JUMPSCARE! Theres also a feature called "Fab Snap" - a copy of tik tok.I love this feature i think it's really funny to watch the characters mess around. Overall? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I believe these features could have been implanted into the original game so that you could still maintain your progress however i'm not that fussed about it. It's a really good and definitely more fun game now JUST with slight tweaks that are different. I hope when i progress through the story that there are more 'romantic' elements as I felt the previous game kinda lacked that and started quite late . I also want it to be easier to get rarer items and devil points etc as to only get 1,500 is £80 WHICH IS CRAZY IDK ANYONE WHO'D PAY FOR THAT.

I love Obey Me with all my heart but this new game leaves me cold. It’s almost a carbon copy of the old game but with everyone starting from zero again (why couldn’t we transfer over Grimm/DP at least, from the original game?). So all my cards and items that I spent time and money levelling up are gone, therefore completing any level is extremely difficult. Which brings me onto Ruri Tunes…. Awful! I thought the dance battles were bad enough, but this is literally hell. The music doesn’t match the graphics, so you’re not following the tunes and on a personal level, my fingers are hyper sensitive, so I can only touch device screens using a stylus, which makes playing this almost impossible. But as a fan of OM for the last 3 years, I’m so invested into story/franchise, I want to play and support the app, but I’m not sure I’m going to be able to, unless I spend a lot of money to be able to buy and level up cards. Such a shame they felt the need to create this instead of just carrying on the story on the original app.
Enjoyable

I really enjoyed it, It’s a nice game but I do have one or two criticisms.Number one, I love playing rhythm games (especially Hatsune Miku Colourful Stage) but because of what I’m used to playing Ruri Tunes felt rather bulky in a way. Having to get used to jumping and then almost instantly having to attack, and having the two, up and down as the two sides really threw me off. As a rhythm game player I will give advice that it’ll take some time to get used to the way that Ruri Tunes works. My other criticism is that it feels that bit too similar to the other game, Don’t get me wrong I do adore both but they just feel that bit too similar to me.

I enjoyed and absolutely loved the first game and I love this one even more I love the 3D animation it’s funny and great to see something new, I’m also so invested in the story I already finished and I’m waiting for new chapters lol and the new mini game Rui tunes is incredible I prefer it over the original game and I have so much fun playing it, the card designs the story and everything is perfect I have had some glitches but it’s a newly released game so I was expecting them overall I absolutely love it great work! Also I’m so happy to get more mammon content he’s my favourite <3
