Hi my 2 yr old using this and the vehicle one regularly (when he gets hold of my iPhone) I think it's really useful for understanding letters and a great education tool - thank youI have one feature that for me would make this 5 stars hands down. Please can you add the ability for us to record each letter and word ourselves - this would be such a brilliant feature. Thanks againTo add to this - another great feature would be if through the settings we could choose the spelling for each picture, I am from the UK and it would be really useful to change some of the words on this, and even more relevant, on the vehicle game as our names of things slightly change - e.g. 'Semi'
Great for letter learning and blending

Really nice simple reinforcement and learning of letter sounds. My kids could play it before they knew the letters, helping them become familiar with the sounds to letter, and then now they can read it’s great to help reinforce the letter sounds and how they blend to make words. Would be great if it has more than about 20 words, but it covers I think all the letters. Thanks!

My two-year old loves this. We also really appreciate the improvements since the upgrade with the audio giving names of letters and reading out the word. I think it is rated a little high at 4+. Very young children can easily match the letters, and older children can turn off the letter hints and have the harder job of spelling a word from the component letters. The only slight niggle, and it is a tiny one, is that we had been teaching our son letters using phonics (i.e. reading by training beginners to associate letters with their sound values), which is how children learn to spell and this sounds out the actual names of the letters.

great game for my two year old who's obsessed with letters and reading, it allows her to learn and have fun, she loves the sounds and pictures, i like the phonics or letter name option it adds variety for her, and the option to remove letter hints is a nice progression, overall love the app, would like to see more for the money though!
