Premium service cancelled

Had been enjoying Jazz FM Premium until receiving email stating that I had cancelled my subscription. I had not cancelled but I think I needed to update my payment details, having received a new credit card. I would have expected to have been reminded of this - ie we have tried to take payment etc - rather than being (mis)informed that I had actively cancelled my subscription. Not a good way to treat listeners who are prepared to pay for content. I can only imagine the hassle I would have now if I tried to start a new subscription - probably to be told that I don’t qualify for a free 30 day trial etc.

Keep sleeping in NO ALARM
The radio station is great and the app is not so great!I pay for the premium station content but it forgets pretty much ever time I open the app, I still show logged in just no subscription, then have to re enter email and then find the password and enter that, once it’s running its fairly stable with occasional drop outs.Just the losing my subscription and then getting the ads and no access to the pay for content is frustrating!

This app is annoying, everytime I wish to listen to jazz radio I have to log in, and that takes a number of attempts, then change your password, it doesn’t recognise you to just play, I’m getting fed up with it, I’ll listen today, but if it repeats itself tomorrow I’ll delete and just go back to the old traditional radio, frustrating, other apps allow you to just click and play, or I’ll just go onto simple radio app and find another jazz station, one click and play. With this app I’m often asked to go premium and pay, not a chance, when other jazz stations are totally free, what am I paying for? No ads that’s what, ads are the Bain but I’m not paying to remove them, I’ll just flick over when one comes up, or simply jury the volume down or turn off.

I've been using the previous version of this app to listen to catch up and have just upgraded to the current version. The new version Asks that I give permission for them to send me news and messages,which I didn't want. However There is no option to decline. It turns out you have to accept this but the next window is from iOS and gives you the option to decline . Thanks to Andy at the developer for promptly responding and pointing this out.Now seems to work well
