I just wish u could pick one or two tracks or something to play offline without having to get pro or plus but apart from that I love it. The sound quality is fantastic, great selection. I’ve always enjoyed listening to the slowed down versions of songs are there are so many of these on SoundCloud. I looked over some other reviews and saw that some people were annoyed at having to pay to play songs offline or about the app being really laggy. The app works perfectly well for me but I’ve only had it for a few months at most and all the complaints about lag are all from years ago, so honestly if your wondering about it lagging it won’t. Also for the people who say the app is bad purely because of having to pay to get offline music I recommend downloading an app that may not have as large of a selection or as good sound quality and using it for when you have no WiFi, for example I use AudioMack. 10/10 would recommend.
Laggy and impractical

Started off as a brilliant app has gradually got worse and worse. Songs I've liked have gone missing,app freezes and shuts itself down when I repost songs. Seems like the app gets worse and worse with every update. Sort it out,I pay money to listen to songs I like ,not songs I like and disappear.... SoundCloud app has really gone downhill recently,I spend hours looking for music just to check my likes and the music not to be there. Please sort it out,getting really frustrating now and I'm not the only one. If you actually interacted with customers or checked comments on your Facebook/social media pages maybe you would understand that things need to be done. Hopefully this review gets looked at and taken into consideration and something gets done.
A platform in decline for its users

Having been a subscriber and user for many years, I can honestly say that Soundcloud is getting worse to the point that it is failing paying customers on a regular basis. As well as several disruptions to the insights reporting over the last 12 months, the app is now even worse to use than ever. Stats and insights displayed offscreen so it’s now impossible to read the graphs accurately. How accurate are they anyway? The answer, not very as I have conducted experiments where the plays do not pull through when made outside of the app. Considering the amount of money I pay for this service and the lack of appropriate support, care and compensation Soundcloud provide, I now have no option but to have to waste my time looking for an alternative provision for my music business as Soundcloud no longer serves my needs. Sadly, it’s a real shame Soundcloud do not seem to care! Their AI centred approach to customer support is also a disaster! The latest genius design on the insights page is the daily stats displayed in white font which is almost impossible to read. No option to change it either. They go from bad to worse!Soundcloud, your time is up….

Since I lost my job I’ve had to cut back on spending temporarily, including Apple Music. I am an avid music lover and SoundCloud has always been used by me for some remixes not found on mainstream streaming services. It works fantastically. Not all songs are available without premium however there a large portion of big artists who do not require it. I think it’s a fantastic app, and it means I can still enjoy my music even in my current circumstances. One note I will add, although I won’t knock a star for it- sometimes the ads are very frequent and there are two together. I’d be happier with the occasional song having a 15 second ad at the start and one at the end, as I typically skip through tracks a lot which triggers ads to generate faster. Other than that, thank you SoundCloud!
