I have used this site for years with little problem. I think it’s a great site! But now suddenly, I can’t view any more than 20-30 profiles of people who are actually online in my region. I used to be able to scroll down and view as many as I wanted but now, as I say, only up to about 30 profiles are viewable.

Reposting a review because my first one isn’t showing. I’ve had a lot of damaging experiences through this app. (Aside from fun) I joined the app because I thought it was a place where I could find likeminded people, be myself, and be part of the “community” that this app supposedly has. When I moved to a new city by myself, this was more true. Instead what I found was a toxic hierarchy and people who lie, abuse, and manipulate others and I believe this app promotes that culture and condones potentially damaging behaviour. Evidence of this being that it shared an article on the news feed about a couple and one of them lies about his age on other apps in order to approach people. But what happens when the other person finds out they’ve been lied to? How does that person feel? Why aren’t there more pieces about mental health, consent, supporting one another? Why publish the best lies to tell in order to get a cheap quick one? I’ve never felt more isolated (and scared) within the LGBT community than I have when I was on this app.

What on earth were developers thinking here?! It’s gone from a little dated, but stable, to basically unusable. It’s lost what made it Recon. The favourites function has gone, I don’t want a public list of who I’m following thanks, I want my private list of favourites. This isn’t a social media site. Although it appears to be trying to be a cross between Facebook and Grindr. Not a good combination. I didn’t renew my premium membership as I had seen the preview version of this. I certainly won’t be now it’s live, and noticed it’s got considerably quieter on here. I suspect I won’t be around on this app much longer myself.

Not a safe environment, toxic behaviour feels promoted and any verbal abuse is allowed through chats! And a limit on how many profiles you can block! Can’t use this app if not connected to WiFi. There should be a law that a face pic is mandatory on profiles and CANNOT be removed and MUST be updated at least once every 12 months! This not sharing a face pic bs doesn’t make sense. How are you supposed to build trust with someone you’re potentially going to get naked and goodness knows what with. You could be talking to a rapeist or psychopath killer. Why is this app allowed to continue
At Recon, our developers have been busy fixing some bugs reported by you, as well as adding some new enhancements and improving performance and stability. Here’s what’s new in this release:

• Under the Scene you can see now see past events and any photos added
• Improvements to the message centre - better performance
• Under Settings - Help, you can access various help articles and also report a bug by submitting a request to our Support team
