Premium doesn’t update to devices

Every year I pay to renew premium and every year it fails to restore premium to my I pad despite me paying the subscription. I only have two devices my I pad and my I phone. It updates on the I phone but not on the I pad so I have to contact support every year to put it right. As of today despite paying the premium subscription, my I pad has not updated the new subscription and I have lost all the premium data, which I have paid for a week ago. Not very good really when other add on purchases on other apps work fine for both devices when subscription is paid for.

Change to Charging Policy and Lack of Support

Dear Sir, WeatherPro was my go to app when it came weather services for my Apple devices. I also welcomed and regularly used the RainToday app. Then I found out recently that instead of charging once for premium services, WeatherPro decided to charge for each app on each device. Since I had their app on my iPhone and iPad this represented a 4 fold increase - how can anyone justify this increase, especially in the current cost-of-living crisis?

Further, nor being aware of this increase I updated my iPad premium service on 9 May 24 expecting it to roll-across RainToday and to my iPhone app. Sadly not to be. Ok, since I use my iPhone the most I also paid for a premium service for this device. In effect I had paid separately for my iPad and iPhone WeatherPro premium services. However, we are now the 4th June and I still do not have premium service for my IPad app. I do have premium service for my WeatherPro iPhone app. I have engaged numerous times with their customer services, but still do not any resolution. In effect I am paying for a service on my iPad I am not receiving. This lack of support is extremely disappointing.

Woefully inaccurate in my area. Your mileage may vary

I’ve been using this app for a number of years. It’s well thought out and features plenty of useful information. I even started paying the subscription, when that was introduced, to receive more detailed . However, certainly in my area, it’s woefully inaccurate compared to other, less flashy, apps such as the UK Metoffice app. It’s especially bad when rain showers are forecast that day. It can start raining and the app doesn’t even show rain or shows a very low probability. To add to the insult it’s sometimes retrospectively updated to show rain when, in fact, it’s already started to rain. In comparison the Metoffice App is far more reliable as a predictor of the weather outlook over the next few hours.

To give just one example this evening it started to rain. The Metoffice shows an 80% chance of rain during the current period whereas WeatherPro shows a 1% chance. I mean where are they getting their forecasts from?!!!!!!!!!!!
