I’ve had extremely disappointing experiences with TaskRabbit—both times I’ve used the platform have resulted in significant issues.In the first instance, the Tasker showed the job as complete a full day earlier than when it was actually scheduled, and my card was charged £122 without my consent. This was both unexpected and incredibly frustrating.The second Tasker caused damage to my property by drilling holes into my wall—something he was explicitly not supposed to do. Worse still, he left the job unfinished and never returned to address the damage. TaskRabbit’s response? A minimal credit and no refund. I'm now left to cover the repair costs for damage I did not cause, with no accountability from the company.Their customer service is equally disappointing. They continually reference vague “internal guidelines” that are never communicated to customers, leaving little room for recourse or fair resolution.Save yourself the stress, wasted money, and time—I strongly advise against using TaskRabbit.

What a shambles the website is every time I tried to respond to the tasker all I got was a 404 error message The tasker then sent a txt cancelling on the day I was expecting my job to be complete Not even a phone number to contact anyone I am most displeased and disappointed I could not even reset my password I have spent hours trying to get help and ended up calling Ikea Disgusting service I have contacted Ikea on a number of times I am finding it difficult to respond to e mail land txt I have been corresponding with taskrabbit helpline and was notified today that a tasker would be with me between 6pm and 9pm I am an elderly lady with health issues and this fiasco has not improved my health mentally or physically what a load of rubbish your service is a complete joke I thought Ikea services would have been an easy experience obviously not especially for older people or people with health issues I will be in touch with Ikea again to demand a manager sort this out no one appears to have read through the chat notes

Wow what an incredible service - I didn’t know about Task Rabbit until IKEA suggested it. Watching Veneta work was like witnessing a miracle. Every cupboard piece precision assembled and smoothly fixed into place. Worth every penny to have a beautiful wardrobe with absolutely no stress. Veneta also advised what to do about the wardrobe doors which were unfortunately incorrectly delivered. And TaskRabbit will come back again to complete the job. I can not praise this service highly enough. And Venetta - thank you - you are a highly skilled powerhouse.

I wish I could give zero stars… service was shocking from someone without experience or skill. After telling me they had just been fired from somewhere and only been working at this company for a week, they broke the furniture. When I complained to TaskRabbit I was told to simply cancel the task to avoid having to pay, but then was told I could not be offered any compensation for broken items because I didn’t pay for the task. So I’m left having to replace damaged parts myself, incur the cost and have wasted hours and hours on this. I just wanted to make life with a young baby slightly easier and instead I have made it a lot harder 😂 won’t be using this service ever again!! They were also rude and unhelpful in their aftercare. Rubbish!
