I run the Roblox group Moderley and we’ve always used VoIP to support our worldwide team. Most of us have desk phones at home, usually Ciscos, connected to our freepbx server. All these years I had never found a decent iOS app for taking sip calls. All the ones I had tried go to sleep causing you to miss calls or require some subscription or want you to sign up for another VoIP service. Groundwire is simply next level. For a one time fee you finally get a sip client that works perfectly and uses push notifications properly to ensure you never miss a call. I am always recommending Groundwire to my employees for taking calls on the go, to the point where one has joked that my second job is Groundwire sales. It’s just that I spent my whole life working around terrible sip clients due to iOS limitations and then Groundwire comes along and solves it all for a small fee. 100% would recommend, as long as you’ve got your provider and credentials ready you can connect it right away. :)

Far better than Bria
The VoIP People
Have had to stop recommending Bria to my cloud Voip customers since they moved to their subscription model that promises features at extra cost that are included for the one-off fee for Groundwire. However, I wish I had found Groundwire years ago because it performs so much better, especially when it comes to incoming calls. Doesn’t matter whether the app is in foreground mode, background mode, in lock-screen mode or even not yet started, this app will ring as normal, just needing a swipe to answer. None of the notification banner, fingerprint or passcode entry, that Bria has which means you almost inevitably miss the call with all the messing about. And the battery life isn’t affected too much - brilliant, I’m happy with the user interface, very similar to native iPhone app.

The best VoIP SIP Softphone

After trying all the free soft phone software I landed with Bria, after several issues with my phone not ringing when a call came in unless the app was loaded, I decided to try Groundwire and it was probably the best £10 I have spent. It works flawlessly, I never miss a call, works perfectly in the background with PUSH even when the app is closed. Been using it for over a year without a problem. Following the recent update I had a small issue so I contacted support not sure if I would get a reply as I am not a large company, but got a very quick reply from Gabriel solving my issue, excellent service. I even recommended this my VoIP provider who now recommends Groundwire to all his clients! Try it….

Better than GS Wave

As a holder/owner of several active business VoIP lines, I’ve used GS Wave on mobile for countless years. Even opting for the older APK just to keep hold of their very long successful VoIP application which probably wasn’t isn’t ideal or safe. After switching to a new iPhone 16 Pro Max, GS Wave was no longer an option. But luckily I found this app.With Groundwire calls come through without checking if the application is working in the background. Very stealthy and better too. GS Wave was a glitchy nightmare compared to this.The battery drainage is non existent also. Never had mobile VoIP applications that don’t seriously affect/drain daily battery life . For the first time my phone lasts all day the battery and then some.I thought I was doomed until I found Groundwire. Pay the £9.99 layout is better than GS Wave used to be. You won’t get any ads and you get peace of mind on iPhone.Thank you guys.
