This subscription is valid for 30 days, 90 days, or 1 year, depending on the subscription type selected. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID Account upon confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal at the price listed within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renew may be turned off via Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.

I’ve been on Scruff ( and other apps) for several years both whilst living in my home country of the UK and whilst living and working abroad for nearly 20 years. I find the Scruff community to be the kinder and gentler onliners ( see there is a direct correlation with respect, manners, realism and ‘hung and hot’ as I always suspected!). The friends I’ve made and more importantly met, kept and still value years down the ‘online gay grid’ line are 90 % Scruff guys. Whilst the distance division of a smaller community means the ‘oh phwoar yes’ guy is just beyond your locality, compared to other sites I’ve used, an I’d say it’s worth the trip! ( so it’s 5 stars to Scruff as hot, sexy, kindr, and a watch out you should take note to Grindr!

Downloaded the app because friends of mine told me there was someone using my pictures on it to scam other users into sending nudes. Reported the profile and made many complaints. Nobody cares. His profile remained active for days... they are probably only part-time on this app and do not care about people using their app to commit fraud. I have had zero communication and his profile is still live now after being constantly reported over a period of days***UPDATE*** Support team are absolutely useless, and after 48hrs respoded saying that they’d look into it, whilst the guy was still happily chatting away pretending to be me. Then, the next day, I get a response asking me for the exact same info I have already provided within the app. A photo of myself with a number on it, and a photo of their profile. These guys are absolutely useless. It might be a good app for hooking up, but when things go wrong, the people running the app haven’t got a clue what to do. I have sent the pictures 3 times now with numbers attached. Just delete his profile already!!!

This is one of the few dating apps that hasn’t gotten greedy and overloads you with adverts! To be clear, this app does not do that.I met the love of my life through this app 4 years ago, when he was just over UK legal but not yet over 18, though his profile was set up saying he was 19, kids these days huh?!Like most dating apps, you get loads of idiots but this is quite a chilled app, easy to set up and use, the guy I mentioned isn’t my boyfriend btw but we see each other often and he just moved out up to London for work. Chatted to a few nice guys here too. Recommend giving it a shot.

Free tier restrictions are increasing

Scruff has always been one of the better gay dating/hookup apps. The app design, community friendliness and value for money in the paid tiers have consistently felt ahead of the competition, but that’s changing. As the free tier gets more restrictive it becomes harder to recommend, especially when the user base is a little smaller. Most egregious is the limitation of member blocking, something really unsafe for any app let alone one designed around meeting, and sharing often personal information. Reporting a profile doesn’t work when you’re just uncomfortable and can’t tell why, no other dating/hookup app I’ve used does this (even the terrible decision-makers at Gr*ndr stopped limiting blocks).Loved Scruff, really wanna see it make a comeback.
