This App is EXTREMELY dangerous especially for younger gay men/women who are psychologically vulnerable and have no support systems especially during lockdowns. I have been on it for two years trying very hard to find someone. I went through no less than 8 scammers and each one talked to me like any decent man would. The longest was for 7 months I believed it was going somewhere how stupid of me. It turned out to be a major scam. I have informed the police. It has made me feel mentally broken and emotionally abused and I will never ever download it again. Someone connected to the Interpol or a regulator really needs to investigate this App. very thoroughly. If they don’t I’m afraid it could lead the young and vulnerable to consider committing suicide. I am in the process of filing an official complaint to the UK regulator.
Not fit for purpose

Terrible app. Firstly, it’s full of catfish from far flung places trying to con you out of house and home. Secondly their customer ‘service’ (ahem) is only run by robots who only have one or two set phrases to respond to queries and concerns. After my profile was suspended because some bitter malicious user reported me for supposedly using inauthentic photos, I did everything the robots told me to do - that is send them n a selfie holding a piece of paper with my name and the date. Every time I did this I got the same automated reply back - that I needed to send in a photo with a piece of paper blah blah. After doing this SIX separate times I just gave up. Why should anyone continue to jump through hoops for a lacklustre app that just isn’t worth it?

First of all I have been using this app since 2018. That’s about two years at the time of writing this. In all that time I haven’t met one single genuine person on here! Despite making it very clear in my profile bio that I’m only looking for someone local, everyday I still get messages from dating scammers with obvious fake profiles, messaging me from thousands of miles away, telling me that distance doesn’t matter and they are serious about developing a relationship etc, etc! I’ve actually become very good at spotting dating scammers thanks to this app so it’s not all bad! Seriously avoid at all costs! This app isn’t fit for purpose!

This app used to be good, but it is now the main app for scammers and it is not an exaggeration when I say that approximately 98% of the messages that I get are from fake profiles, the main part based in Ghana and other parts of west Africa where this seems to be big business. I used to report every single one of them but absolutely thing is done about it and it seems to just get increasingly worse. I don’t know why advertisers even bother to spend their money supporting this app, because there are clearly very few real people using it.
