I was studying Stonehenge and was looking for an app that helped me understand how the monument marks solar and lunar events. This app is great for understanding how the sun and moon move over the year, and how the moon rise and set changes over the 19 year Metonic cycle. Great to be able to move around the sky dome in 3D and to manipulate and animate time easily by sliding your finger side to side. Haven’t even used all the features, but it’s really deepened my understanding of the sun and moon movements above. It’s much easier for me now to walk outside, without the app, and draw imaginary paths in the sky in my mind’s eye, and understand where the heavens are going to move. Love it!
Perfect Candidate Need : Perfect Solution App.

There are some real-world functions that are perfect candidates for software tool-set solutions. This "need x solution" combination is rarely a perfect mind storm. In the 35 years I have been using computer apps, I have never encountered such a perfect match so perfectly made, delivered and presented. I last felt like this when I first touched my first Apple Mouse😎. It deserves its own annual Hollywood Oscar!Anybody who teaches a course on what computers are made and what they are best made for, would be well served by incorporating Sun Surveyor into the curriculum.
Best app in my iPhone

I’ve had, originally the Lite then the full version, of Sun Surveyor for years and it never fails to be fascinating - so many options, so much information. It manages magnificently to be functional, informative, fascinating and beautiful. Always works, the developer has supported it properly in the long term. Just buy it. If you’re looking at properties, or a photographer, nature lover, scientist, pagan, astronomer or just a bit geeky, you’ll be glad you did.
Phenomenal

I have been using Sun Surveyor for at least 5 years. For me it is a constant source of amazement that so much information can be gleaned from it. It should be an essential app for anyone with a powerful Smartphone. Adam deserves much praise for constantly improving this app. If I could, I’d give it 6 stars.
