Ever since the whole Withings Nokia flip flop not a lot still works. The Uber expensive equipment I’ve bought still turns on, but when it comes to connecting back to the mothership, not much still works. The scales (I have most Withings generation of scales) are a total right off. They worked. I changed nothing. Withings bought and sold hands several times. Now my scales don’t work. A similar story with my thermo. I love the equipment it’s just useless if it doesn’t do what it’s sold to do. As for the app, well disorganised springs to mind. Want to quickly find a blood pressure? Forget it. Scroll scroll scroll keep an eye out scroll some more. It’s great to have everything in one place but if I’m in the doctors and they ask for blood pressure then I want blood pressure. Just blood pressure and nothing else. All the results I ever took. If I want weight or any other measure I want just that. No doctor ever goes “let’s see every statistic all in one place broken down into a day by day and lumped all together”. No, they want a graph over time of just one measurement. As for controlling devices? That’s just of a mess. Try asking to take blood pressure. Nope. Can’t be done. You have to wait for the blood pressure monitor to ask you are you ready. Open the cuff. Wait. Stare at the app. Is it going to come on? Isn’t it? Should I click something? Waiting. Looking. Maybe turn it off and on again. Wait some more. Oh quick it’s starting! What’s wrong with open app. Press button that says I’M ready. And pretty much everything else is the same. Watch. Thermo. Got them all and they’re all set the same way. Incoherent mismatch. Speaking of which. Pick and app icon and stick with it. And picking the exact same one as Apple but tweaking the colours? Not helpful!

Thank heavens you have finally reclaimed your Withings products back from Nokia. I purchased a Withings Activité before disastrous Nokia got involved. The previous Withings app was excellent, accurate and informative. All of this was totally lost in the current Nokia App design introduced by Nokia, it is totally unreliable, the graphics design is awful and with the awful turkwise colouring I find it very very difficult to read. I paid a lot of money for my Withings Activité watch. I love the design of the watch. Please please please do something about the now Withings app and restore it back to its former glory easy to read, use and understand. I liked the milestone badges and the trivia information associated with the badges again these have been totally cut out in the Nokia app. Please restore these app features as they all collectively in the previous app not only made you feel good about reaching your goals which in turn made you feel good about yourself and also spurred you on to do a bit more than your goals. The old Withings app design was streets ahead of this rubbish one. I look forward to seeing you introduce major improvements in the app and also will be interested to see what other excellent Withings produces will be available to accompany my existing Withings Activité watch. I have been a long time owner of the Withings scales and like the additional detail I can get around Body Composition, the way this presents itself in the app is okay albeit every day there are these full screen notifications that take up the homepage when all I want to see is my data so you have to scroll whenever you get into the app to see your data.I recently bought the Scanwatch 2 as I liked the claims to lower level data and the design was better but I’ve since returned it as it is not worth the premium price being charged, once again mainly because of their app, steps did not update in real-time, heart rate isn’t continuously tracked (batched in 30 minute averages) and there’s seemingly no stress or heart rate variability in real time either unless running a specific ECG. I viewed the Scanwatch 2 as an upgrade to my Venu 2 but the Garmin App is just so much better for reporting on those health metrics and does so in real time. Additionally, the sleep tracking was all over the place, sometimes only logging 1-2 hours of 8+ hour sleeps I was having whereas my Garmin tracks this without fail and in greater detail (don’t think you can REM on Scanwatch, only Deep / Light) There’s also no silly notifications so I can just log in and see all my metrics there within the app. If Withings put some serious work into their companion app then I would reconsider them as a brand but as things stand, it just isn’t worth the premium price I paid for it.

Worst customer service I've ever encountered

Worst customer service I've ever encountered after attempting to understand nearly the worst instructions I've ever had. Over the years I've bought several Withings products and there's always something wrong. The app crashes randomly and I've had to wait weeks before they get it to work again. Do they not keep abreast of iOS updates? I'm on the best iPhone/ latest system. I spent an hour and fifty minutes on a ‘chat’ two weeks ago and 2+ hours yesterday. There openly tell you they're simultaneously dealing with multiple customers instead of concentrating on the job at hand, as if that's alright. So you either put up with staring at a blank screen or give up. Even after all that time they couldn't fix a simple problem (latest product U-scan doesn't work). After giving up on me I was supposed to be contacted by senior staff (three times) but that hasn't happened either. At the moment I can't use any of the expensive products I bought and they're refusing to allow return for refund of the ridiculously overpriced U-scan ‘because its been wee’d on’! Well obviously, that's the point!! Never been more mad, more disrespected as a customer and more fed up with a so called tech company. They do NOT deserve our business. Seems to be an ingrained culture and its flipping hard work to be honest. I'll look elsewhere in future. Avoid them, it just isn't worth the anguish!
