I’ve tried several different apps to record gym sessions over the years. With most of them, I’ve spent as much time fiddling with the app as actually exercising! Not now! Both the free and Pro versions give you just what you need to quickly record your workout and then send the data to the iOS Health records. Excellent app! The Pro version is well worth the money. Highly recommended!

Really pleased with this app. The Apple Watch functionality is excellent with only one omission in my view; it would be great to start a workout on the watch i.e. press play to log the workout into the activity app. This would make is 5 * for me. Additional programmes are VERY steep in my view, but no need to purchase them to make use of the app.Edit: emailed support and got a response in 5 minutes explaining how to start a workout on the watch (you force touch on an exercise and start the timer). Now 5 star!

Trying to Trick users into hidden cloud subscription Payments to unlock online backups. Also there is no support for removing a superset combination. I enabled this feature on a workout and now I have to keep jumping between the exercises.I also have a problem with the exercise timer. It counts calories but it doesn’t make sense. I record the set once I complete it and then rest for 30-40 seconds. The timer begins when I record the set but then tells me I have burned calories between my rest period? I’m sure it’s user error but I can’t find any supporting information to help with this. Very over-priced workout plans as well.

Your data will be saved automatically in Apple's iCloud together with your iPhone's backup. So you don't need to purchase anything. Our cloud service gives you following advantages:- automatic backup- automatic data synchronization between different devices and platforms - a web version of Fitness Point- a possibility to share workouts with your friendsYou can test this service one month for free. After that period it is available for a small fee.Regarding Supersets: You can remove them the same way you joined exercises to a superset. Just select the menu option "Superset" and click on the supersets you want to remove.Regarding the exercise timer please contact our support team at support@fitnesspointapp.com as we need some additional information.

Have been big into weight lifting for quite a bit of time and a few years ago now decided to move away from tracking my lifting on pen and paper (transferred to a spreadsheet).Tried quite a few apps until I came across this and it’s a keeper.Not only does it have a decent database and images of exercises (wasn’t that bothered about this but can see why many would find it good), but I can create my own workouts and log them - including weight, sets and reps - in specific dates.Example:Chest day I’ve pulled in four different exercises from the database and have set my target sets and reps. I can record my results for ‘chest day’ and even look at the last time I did said workout to make sure I’m beating the previous.
