Came across this Camper Stop on route from Spain to Le Shuttle Eurotunnel in Calais whilst looking for another site listed in Parkings in this area. We couldn’t find the one we were looking for (it may not be open anymore) but we were directed here by a local policeman when we asked him where we could find the Aire de Camping Car site.It’s a hard standing parking area opposite the Big Super U Supermarket and is very safe, spacious and well illuminated. We have an 8.25m Carthago and had no problems fitting on. Ideal if you want to do some grocery & alcohol shopping and you could always use their WC facilities if required. I think there is a little cafe inside too if you fancied a snack but I’ll check that out later and amend my review accordingly.There’s a petrol station on site too which sells reasonably priced fuel, plus a car wash and there's s also a few other stores in this location such as a Bricolage, Jardiniere and electrical store.No facilities as such - but for a safe overnight stop off that is only minutes off the A28 motorway you cannot go wrong.Would definitely stay here again if passing through.

Route suggestions are brilliant

Although I do not use the route suggestions as they are detailed, due to time constraints and differing interests, I followed several routes in Netherlands, Denmark, Germany and Belgium on a 4-week trip to Poland and back to UK last year.Currently in Northern France for 3 weeks so will do the two routes available. I pay for Campercontact Pro* so the routes are included in the subscription fee. Just wish there were more of them, but believe additional ones will be added in the near future. Totally worth the subscription fee (assuming it does not increase more than would be expected), and would even recommend to family/friends travelling in a car for ideas of routes and places of interest, even if they have to find hotels/Airbnb instead of campsites.

App is rubbish. The search swipe up constantly covers the map and even after swiping it away it reappears again and again. I don’t want to search! I want to look at a map. When I do see a place and tap it the swipe up appears - again! but now it won’t swipe up to see anymore information about the place I want to look at. It’s like it is stuck. Absolute rubbish. You should not have changed. Read your reviews. People are angry and moving to different apps. I wish I could send NO stars. It just doesn’t work.Campercontact responded with exactly the same rhetoric as previously, ignoring the user end experience, which simply doesn’t work. LISTEN to your users ! It doesn’t work.

So far we have been to five different sites in four different countries & in each case the directions have been spot on as have been the info & reviews - the photos have been useful too . It has helped to make the decision for a night , ie if a town centre ‘car park ‘ is ok for a night as you are really just passing through , or you want something with more facilities & are happy to pay a bit more for such a place . And even if it puts you off a place as reviews say it’s noisy etc ! Not only does it help with trip planning but with budgeting for a long journey too . And even if just for a night , have discovered some interesting places / walks etc . Bravo Campercontact!
