GET GUD! (Btw if you spend two weeks on spicebrush get ready to wait YEARS for a certain someone in the MIDDLE (🥁🥁🥁)of canto 5 Spicebush is a test to see if you understand the game and not just spam winrate and use your best ID’S for every fight. Even the “BEST” ID’s will be useless for you if you don’t READ and use the correct resistances and E.G.O (not ego please it’s a bit weird calling it that) And use the ID’s that are best suited against the boss. Even base ID’s can be better in certain situations where you don’t have a unit to counter. Also I am not sure but I believe Yi Sang can’t die during the the canto 4 boss fights if he still has allies alive near him. Same with Ishmael in the later canto but she also gains compulsion which makes her start with negative sanity which doesn’t change much and she actually gains a clash boost so use here to tank the hits) Or go the easy way and just level up your sinners to level 35…. (Warning the following boss fights and dungeons will be insanely easy and may become a bit boring due to the constant winrate spam since canto 4 doesn’t have a level cap or anything like that which they really should add as an option for first timers)

Phenomenal story; great gameplay that is constantly refreshed with interesting mechanics; generous gifting of 'pull' currency with every scheduled maintenance, error, and anniversary; virtually everything in the game is acquirable without having to gamble (the only things you can't get are cosmetic); power creep hasn't been a concern until very recently, which is impressive for a gacha. Where other gacha games have to constantly show off new characters to appeal to their audience, Limbus Company follows 12 set-in-stone "Sinners", with their many Alternate Universe selves being the characters you pull for. Having a favourite character in this game is very rewarding as they are constantly receiving new content, instead of being pushed to the side for the next New Release. I honestly think this game has solved the gacha genre, and I will never be able to acclimatise myself to any other gacha game because of it.

As a PM fan, I was really hesitant when I found out about what Limbus Company was - an unpaid gacha. But this is really a level above practically every other gacha game I’ve come into contact with. The characters are stellar, all so distinct from one another with genuinely compelling backstories and dynamics. On top of that, the stories are not just fun to click through and absorb, but expand brilliantly on the existing lore given in both Lobotomy Corporation and Library of Ruina. This game is so bloody amazing. Even the more technical aspects - like gameplay and gacha - are both fun to play and fair in how they operate. PM actions community feedback at a stunning rate, and on top of that, it’s still constantly improving! Give it a go. 💚
