Our workplace recently switched from ELFY to the EVO training app, and the experience so far has been frustrating for many of us. ELFY worked well, but EVO has been problematic in several key areas:•The interface is poor — course content appears in a small square in the middle of the screen, requiring constant zooming, scrolling, and adjusting just to read or follow instructions.•The courses are difficult to follow, and the layout makes the learning experience disjointed and uncomfortable.•The app frequently crashes or freezes mid-course, forcing users to reload and start over.•At the end of each course, users are required to fill out a review, which feels unnecessary and time-wasting, especially when completing mandatory training.•The app causes devices to heat up significantly and drains battery life, even when used on brand-new, up-to-date phones like the iPhone 16 Pro.•Logging in was a nightmare. It took months for many staff to gain access, and EVO’s login process often rejected the credentials they sent. The app also crashed repeatedly during the login stage.Frankly, it’s hard to understand how this app was approved for use in the healthcare sector. As it’s not just my workplace that is using it, it seems to be rolled out everywhere. The user experience is extremely poor compared to ELFY, and it has added more stress to what should be straightforward mandatory training.

Barely working, crashes every opportunity it got. Such a minimal amount of settings choices.

This app has really helped with my learning. Being able to complete my induction training on my mobile has allowed me to conveniently finish off my courses at home.
