I bought an eSIM from Saily well in advance for my upcoming trip, thinking I was preparing ahead and that it would activate upon landing, just as advertised. However, I later found out—after my eSIM had expired—that their “Activate on Landing” claim is completely misleading and deceptive. Here’s what happened:1️⃣ They claim the eSIM will activate when you land, but in reality, if you don’t use it within 30 days of purchase, it expires automatically—whether you’ve activated it or not.2️⃣ They encourage you to activate it before travel, making you think it’s necessary. But the moment you activate, the expiry countdown starts, even if you’re not using the data.3️⃣ Customer service was no help. When I contacted them, they told me my eSIM expired because I didn’t use it within 30 days. I hadn’t even traveled yet! When I pointed out that their system is misleading, they just repeated their policy and refused to refund or replace it.4️⃣ They make money off people who don’t get to use their eSIMs. A fair company would start the 30-day validity from the first use, not from purchase.I ended up losing my money without ever getting to use the service. This is dishonest business practice, and I wouldn’t recommend Saily to anyone. There are much better eSIM providers out there that actually respect their customers.Don’t waste your money like I did. AVOID this company!
