Embark on an epic journey with Age of History 3, which takes you through the vast timeline of human history. From the Age of Civilization to the realms of the far future, play as various Civilizations ranging from dominant empires to small tribes.
Technology
Advance in the technology tree to unlock better buildings and stronger units, improving your Civilization. Each technological breakthrough opens up new possibilities, reflecting the evolution and growth of your Civilization through History.
Army Composition
The choice of units in the front and second line is vital. Front-line units need to be resilient and capable of dealing with direct combat, while second-line units should provide support, range attacks, or specialized functions.
With more than 63 unique unit types available, you have a vast array of army compositions to select from, offering a diverse range of strategic options.
New Battle System
Each day, the front-line units of both armies engage in combat with the enemy's front-line, provided they are within attack range. Simultaneously, the second-line units also participate by attacking the enemy's front-line units if they fall within their range.
The combat results in casualties, the retreat of troops, and the loss of morale.
Manpower
Manpower represents the stock of individuals eligible for military service within a Civilization. It is a critical resource used for recruiting new troops and reinforcing existing armies, embodying the Civilization's capacity to wage war and defend itself.
Manpower replenishes over time, reflecting natural population growth and recovery from previous military engagements.
Since manpower replenishes over time, players must plan their military campaigns considering their current and future manpower availability.
I personally think that this game on IOS needs to be looked at by the developer, i know it is early days but still the resolution scale on AOH 2 has still not been fixed. It is a struggle to play the game effectively, the side bar is partially hidden by the screen notch. Some of you might be able to play like this but it was a huge put of for me as I like to be able to see all text & be the access to the menu instead of having to swipe out of the game just to change scenarios. I have requested a refund on the game until this is fixed as I personally can not play with that.It should be an easy fix to add in a “Adjust Resolution” option in the settings but I will keep a close eye on this until it has been added.
Game won’t even start up.

As someone who has put countless hours into AoH2; creating countless scenarios, conquering earth with many nations, leading small tribes towards ultimate destiny, I could hardly contain my excitement when I found out of the release of Age of History 3. Unfortunately for me and many others, the game won’t load past the menu wherein I select the map size (I go for the smaller amount of provinces as recommended). It seems to outright crash and shut the game down whilst loading scenario 13. Utterly disappointed as AoH2 was one of my favourite game experiences. I simply can’t justify giving this any more stars until I’m actually able to play the game!! Money down the drain, and for nought. I really hope that I get the opportunity to change this review and play.
I cant play the game

I was very excited to get this game as I’m a fan of history and these types of games. Yet when I got this and tried playing it I couldn’t play any rounds. The mobile map which is “recommended for mobile users” keeps making me crash, which doesn’t make me feel as if the mobile map is suitable for mobile users. I literally can’t play a round because when I load into one I cant make it through 30 seconds before crashing. This has made me disappointed as I’ve been wanting to play this game for so long. I wish this gets noticed and something is done about this, because I’ve really wanted to try out so many scenarios, but I can’t.
Age of History III requires patience.

I ADORE AOH2, and AOH3 - in terms of gameplay - is totally worth getting. If I had to make a request, it would be a more in-depth diplomacy system that allowed trading with other nations, defending allies diplomatically and not just militarily, and also collaborating economically with friendly countries. But then there is the crashing. I downloaded the app, then managed to play without too much trouble for a few weeks, then I deleted the app to make some space. Now I’ve re-installed it, and I can’t enter the game.
Added all formable civilizations.
Bigger close button.
