I downloaded the app as an absolute beginner to crochet and honestly it’s so easy and helpful to follow!! The AI is such a great component as well because it helps dumb it down if you really haven’t a clue aha!! Only reason it’s 4 stars for me is it’s hard to keep track of patterns you see. I wish they had an element that allowed you to save projects for the future so you can find them when you are ready to move on or when you want to buy the correct yarn etc.Overall great app and would 100% recommend to any beginners or anyone stuck with ideas for their next projects!!!

I do really like this app. It had given me some experience and used tips for crocheting, I think it would be useful to have a save for later option and possibly a notes box, so that we don’t lose or forget what we want to make but can’t make right now. I have adhd so forget ideas I have and things I want to make, sometimes I see a project and make decisions on what colours to make it/ what to make with the granny squares and things like that, then when I go back to the app either I can no longer find the pattern I wanted or have completely forgotten what I wanted to make over a month ago. I don’t really trust ordering yarn offline because of a bad experience doing so. I don’t currently have the yarn I need for most projects on the app and can’t afford to just go buy it all right now, so it may take a month to get all the yarn needed for about 2-3 projects and I’ve seen at least 7 I would like to make. I think it’s a good idea to have an “save for later” section

I love that this app helped me learn to crochet and create my first real items. But there are some key issues that are disappointing. The first is that when following a pattern there are no photos of the process as you go along. This makes it difficult to check progress properly. Also if you need to check how to do a stitch there isn’t a direct link from the pattern to the tutorial so you have to leave the pattern, enter the tutorial then return to the pattern. My biggest annoyance is that the advert on social media for the app shows how you can take a photo and the app will design a pattern of it. I paid for gold membership so I could do this and you can’t. There is an AI prompt option to make a pattern but no possibility to make a pattern from a photo. That is dishonest and very disappointing.

I love this app! It is very educational and practical for all ages. I just would like to make a point about how they really need a search bar. I also think it would be nice if you had projects on other things in the dc, tc, mc, sc department because if you don’t want to go to far, and you want to do some other crochet designs-you are kinda stuck and have to complete the whole thing. So PLEASE add a search bar and different categories for different types of crochet so you are not scrolling for ages to find something that’s not a pro.
