So far, there’s been no ads no in app purchases nothing to stop me from playing it’s just been Dungeons & Dragons non-stop I am only about five sentences into the game itself but we will soon see what happens. It's a cool design. But does run off ai for the story and interactions. Which is fine, and it's obviously designed in a d&d set up style with nice interface. But once you complete the 10-15 min demo. You have to pay for every action you take. If you go for the cheapest monthly option it's £15 a month. With a limit to how many actions you can take. With £25 a month for an increased limit to how many actions you can take. These are crazy prices and highly restricted. If you compare it to Disney + or netflix for entertainment. It's lowest monthly subscription is higher than their middle / higher tiers.Saw another review saying since ai, you could just ask an ai chat bot to create a 1 player d&d for you. And might not have as nice an interface and set up, but yh ud pretty much get the same thing. Not sure why you'd pay incredibly high prices for this.Should be a 1 off payment for the app. Or a very low monthly subscription, without limiting how much you can play. Has very low number of reviews as clearly not worth it.As of June 2026 defo not worth it. And doubt they would change their payment structure, even though it would probably get them a lot more people playing and probably higher profit. But oh well.

I enjoyed the first 20 mins of this even if it felt a bit like I was reading AI generated text. The UI is good, with solid dice animations and a nice little tracker when you increase standing with a NPC. What got insanely annoying (after paying £15 ) was the next extremely long part where it just felt like slop. It felt like I was in a semi-loop that the AI didn’t want to progress and seemed to have its own idea on the outcome it wanted and despite me succeeding in dice rolls way above the odds, it just really wanted a bad guy NPC to escape, forcing me to keep tying him up or telling others they needed to as he was once again wriggling free about 12 times. There is no story ark. It’s a meandering and insanely drawn out in places nothing burger. Like someone telling you their dream. The AI is a hollow illusion of a DM or storyteller, saying the right sounding words but without any genuine meat to the writing. Disappointing

The game is great… However, 15 Rounds gives you an hour play time. Then you are locked out behind a pay wall. $15 a month to be limited to 200 Rounds per month, which is 13 hours play time a month. Why would i pay that money to be allowed a certain amount of play time per month? Simply put, I wouldn’t and I wont, it’s ridiculous. In my opinion it should be a one time payment of $10 to purchase the game which gets you 13hrs a month standard with no subscription, then if you want more playtime you can subscribe for more playtime. Change the prices or at least increase the amount of playtime. I will keep it installed until i see this change. If it doesn’t change, I’m uninstalling it.
