This app is honestly such a game changer for stage management. It makes keeping a digital prompt book so much easier and has so many genius and useful features. Everything feels really organised and easy to use, whether I’m in rehearsals, updating notes, or calling a show. It’s saved me so much time and made my workflow way less stressful. I genuinely couldn’t imagine going back to working without it now.
FINALLY

It’s pretty wild to me that this app didn’t exist years ago. As a theatre producer (and occasional SM) I’ve been desperate for an app that makes the hell that is marking up a script that much easier. Super impressed with the ease of use of PromptBook, and the fact I can use my Apple Pencil with it on my iPad is extra delicious. Would thoroughly recommend, could easily become an industry standard.
Game Changer

by far the best way I’ve found for digital markup. It’s the first app I’ve used that felt like it was designed for theatre. The basic functions are great for replacing a paper copy then bits like the show mode, dark mode and the syncing are so so good as extras
So much quicker

The cloud backup and other features are nice. But oh my god the speed from receiving a script to having it marked and ready to use is great. The cue sheets are really handy asw for just starting programming.
- Overhaul of export mechanic for PDF marked scripts to better match what is shown in app.
- Notes are now a fixed size to prevent scaling issues
