Really impressed with the new Majestic Wine app. It’s clean, easy to navigate and makes shopping for wine much more convenient. I particularly like having my loyalty points, previous orders, favourites and tasting notes all in one place. Being able to quickly reorder wines and use Click & Collect is a great addition too. A very useful app for a regular Majestic customer.

It technically works, but there’s so many minor bugs and UX inconveniences that it’s hard to believe this is an official app from a national chain.The back button takes you back two steps. The screen it lands you on will likely be blank. The reduce quantity button doesn’t remove the product if the current quantity is 1 - but nevertheless you must wait 5 seconds while it recalculates delivery options for no reason. There’s an “are you sure?” prompt when navigating from your basket to the rest of the app (to for example add more products, aka revenue…).2 stars since I can technically log in and add items to my cart and so on… but honestly the bugs are so numerous and embarrassing that I’d rather just use the website.

The app is really easy to use and looks great. I love the options and recommendations they give you, especially as someone who doesn’t like having to make too many decisions! It makes finding a wine really quick and easy without feeling overwhelming.

I like the new app. It’s very easy to use and I like the look of it. It feels more premium than the previous app did.
