COST CLARITY - Every figure in the damage report is now labelled as a photo-based estimate, so it is always clear what the numbers are and are not. - A High, Medium or Low confidence rating sits beside the costs, with the reason (for example, the underside was not photographed) and a short To firm this up list of the photos or checks that would tighten the price. - Switch the DIY parts spend between Used OEM, New Aftermarket and New OEM. The recommended route is marked and selected for you, and a route that cannot be priced honestly says Not priced rather than inventing a figure. - Airbags and seatbelt pretensioners are always priced as new, whichever route you pick. - The professional garage figure states what it assumes, and saved assessments remember the route you chose. CREATE AS A BUILD - One tap turns a damage report into a Start a Build form that is already filled in: your assessment photos (number plates hidden automatically), the car, the damage areas and the essential and recommended parts. Check it, add your story and post. - If you already have something half-written on Start a Build, you are asked before anything is replaced. ALSO IN THIS UPDATE - Year, make and model read from a report now land in the right fields, including descriptions such as Ford Focus (2011-2018) or VW Golf Mk7. - Shops: the badge explainer and the Verified only filter now appear only when a business genuinely carries a badge, and Find My Part says exactly who receives your request: every Business member. - Buttons, badges and selected chips use a deeper orange with white text, easier to read in both light and dark mode.

AI ASSISTANT SHORTCUT A new sparkle button at the top of the Garage opens the AI Rebuild Assistant in one tap — crash photos in, damaged parts, hidden-damage warnings and a UK cost range out. VERIFIED BUSINESS CLAIMS Claiming a business is now a review request. Nothing on the listing changes until we have rung the business on the number already on its listing and approved the claim — you'll see "Claim under review" and get a notification either way. Business members are reviewed first. COMMUNITY MODERATION The Help & Rebuild team can now remove content that breaks the rules (the owner is told why), and team members show an ADMIN badge in chats and on posts so you always know who you're talking to. Every photo is now checked by an automated safety screen before it goes live. SECURITY UPDATE Every AI feature now goes through our own signed-in server check before anything reaches the AI service, and the community database had a full security review with tighter protection for offers, reviews and member details. Nothing changes in how the features work or in what is sent. Everything else works exactly as before.

HOUSEKEEPING UPDATE Our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and Support pages have moved to helpandrebuild.co.uk. The Terms and Privacy links inside the app now open the new pages directly. Where genuinely known you also get the OEM number, cross-references, position, engine fit, years and quantity. Copy the number, save it to a project's wanted list or jump straight to prices. Free members get 3 identifications a day; Pro is unlimited. Results are AI suggested — always confirm compatibility with the seller before buying. SMARTER BUYING LINKS Once an OEM number is confirmed, every retailer search includes it for far more relevant results. A new condition filter — Any, Genuine/OEM or Aftermarket — controls which sources you see. SHARPER WANTED LISTS Wanted parts now save OEM and alternative numbers plus the condition you want, and part-match alerts also match on part number — so the right listing finds you faster. SMART FIND HANDOVER (PRO) Still can't find it? One tap carries your car, part and OEM number straight into a Smart Find broadcast — breaker yards and sellers reply with price, condition and delivery. Their responses now show in Part Matches too, and the broadcast form gains OEM number and condition-wanted fields. Plus faster AI responses and fixes under the bonnet.

ACHIEVEMENT BADGES Earn carbon-and-ember badges for the milestones that matter: First Rebuild, First Part Found, 10 Parts Found, Helping Hand, First Engine Start, First Drive and more. They live on your profile and on the build that earned them. PART MATCH ALERTS Tell us what you're hunting and the app watches for you. When a matching part is listed by a member, a breaker yard or a business, an alert lands in your notification bell with the part and the seller a tap away. Free and Pro members alike. The new Part Matches screen keeps every match in one place.
